Congratulations to our presumptive nominee, Donald Trump!

Great job in New York and throughout this campaign. Cruz and Kasich are now mathematically eliminated and just like all the others who were mathematically eliminated should concede and drop out so we can all unite behind our nominee and prepare to defeat the godless America-hating traitor Hillary Clinton in November.

As conservatives and patriots, it's time to put bruised egos behind us, heal our differences and act united in the best interests of our nation. The media and the GOPe will try to keep us divided, of course, but we must not fall for their treasonous tricks.

A divided Republican party will ensure Hillary waltzes into the White House in November.

Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction. Hillary would be a third term for Obama and would complete his mission of completely destroying America.

Do not let freedom expire on our watch!!

I'm praying this forum and our loyal members will now be shifting into high gear to defend our freedom by uniting against the treasonous enemy within.

Let's get Trump over the 1237 mark and finally take the GOPe completely out of the picture!!

Then onward to the presidency in November!!

Your post is one of the best descriptions of the two candidates.

I agree that Cruz seems not to have a clue as to how he appears to people. If he did, he would certainly have worked on his false delivery way back in Alan Derschwitz’s classes. He's been caught in myriad lies - just this week he's said that Trump has no way to earn the 1237 delegates. An obvious lie to cover up that he wants a disrupted convention to soothe his hurt vanity! I, too, thoughtlessly accepted what Freepers were saying about his exemplary character back last summer. So this has been an education.

Trump, on the other hand, is exactly how you portray him. Jewish New York - which defined mid-century New York - is clear upon him. The accent, the cadences, the expressions, the personality have been heavily influenced by the hard-working, jokey, tough-as-nails Jews who once dominated this city in politics and business. If he didn't look so goyish, I can only imagine that he was greeted many times with the words I've heard all my life: “You Jewish?”

From what I’ve heard, Cruz thought Roberts was good, but that that he preferred Mike Luttig, had it been his nomination.

I believe we can and should make common cause with the Trump forces and that cause is the defeat of Hillary Clinton or any Democrat nominee. That cause is the salvation of the Republic from a dark eclipse.

However, until that nominee is certified we owe a duty to our self-respect and to our country to fight on on behalf of the man we believe is the honorable conservative and the best man fit and worthy of the office.

The general term GOPe has been in use for a long time.
It is simply a truncated way of saying GOP Establishment with less typing.

The term has nothing to do with Senator Cruz (whom I admire, see my posting history) specifically.
It is just those legislators who are seemingly a component of the Uniparty against our far more conservative wishes as a country.

Donald Trump is our wonderful presumptive nominee.
I knew I would be happy to support either Mr. Trump or Mr. Cruz to become POTUS.

The bathroom deal is a big fat nothing burger. The exception thing in the platform is worrisome, but it more realistically reflects the standard GOP position which is basically a cowardly do nothing but lie to the voters position about something they plan to mostly ignore except when campaigning and asking for donations.
