Let the celebration begin! Freedom and voters have prevailed against tyranny and corruption!
Ted got Punked, Schlonged and Bitch slapped in NYC tonight!
Couldnt happen to a better GOP Tool like lie-in Ted!
cRuz doesn’t even deserve to be Senator in TX.
He’s a lyin’ cRuznadian dog...who needs to get out of the race....and go back to Canada.....or, Cuba.
Hate to say I told you folks so, but, “New York Values”....uttered and authored by New York Hater, Ted Cruz, has rightfully and justly killed Ted Cruz politically. Mr Cruz is far from being the sharpest knife in the drawer. Go Donald J. Trump!!!
IN fairness, Trumps victory, while impressive does not indicate he is competitive in NY this fall. There were about twice the number of democratic votes cast as compared to republican.
I had hoped Trump might make New York state competitive, but it is not to be.
Texas will, in a similar manner will go (based on the number of primary votes of the two side), republican. The only question is by how much.
In any case this result favors Trump in the coming week.
As I still think a Trump-Cruz ticket gives the republicans the best chance of victory, I sincerely hope Ted Cruz starts to wind down his attacks that might cause dissention in the convention. We need unity in order to win this fall.
Bwaaaahaaaaaaa!!!
Actually there’s over 150 unbound delegates going to the convention. 54 from my state alone, PA, and we get to vote for our delegates on our ballots. So if Trump is only a few delegates short I’m sure he will pick up what’s needed off these unbound...they will not want to be the reason for the party fracturing.
“Canadian flag at half mast....”
I don’t care who you are, that’s funny right there!
CD 4 coming in Trump 70% 3 delegates. Went under 50 in another.. So 91-4 over Kasich.
IMHO, it wasn’t New York values... it started with Chicago where he blamed Trump for the protests, and got much worse when he said Trump should fire Corey L.
You are forgetting there are going to be one hell of a lot of pissed off Sanders voters voting for Trump in the general.
I understand what you are saying and have no contention. You are being realistic.
I just ask you to consider the possibility that enough Sanders voters will be angry at Clinton and maybe, just maybe, crossover to vote Trump to make a statement.
Just a thought. I think Trump does make NY competitive. Does it mean he will win? Not sure. BUT, it may mean Clinton has to spend money in her own back yard,,and I like that!
Just saw the Martha McCallum graphic.
NYers were asked who they would NOT vote for...
26% would NOT vote for Trump
30% would NOT vote for Kasich
41% would NOT vote for Cruz.
OOPS!
Ted needs to go back to making movies.
At least he’d be fun to watch

I hope....but I really do not have an idea on how much that is a vain hope. If Hillary gets the nomination with more delegates than Saunders, I think a lot of the ideological Dems will end up rallying round the flag. Trump promises to undo a lot of the democratic plans.
That said I think a lot of the blue collar rank and file will vote Republican in the northeast if trump is the candidate. Cruz, not so much.
Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton win big in New York

Generally "bound" delegates are bound for the first vote at the convention. After the first vote, they are free to change to whomever they want.
I understand Donald Trump just won NY, but cruz is in PA working to gather delegates for himself, is it voted by the citizens of PA, or appointed by the DC republican leaders. What can Trump do, should cruz win PA, can Trumps people, go into PA and change the delegate votes from cruz to Trump?
Rule 8.4 of the Pennsylvania GOP bylaws (link) state that the delegates are unbound. So each campaign can attempt to woo delegates.
Wherever Trump has won the majority of votes and delegates, cruz has his people in that area taking away delegate votes from Trump to cruz. I would like to know how. Is it by states or America Wide? I just leaned that SUPER DELEGATES are picked who gave the most money to the cauz or were appointed by the republican party of each state and those party elites. Am I reading this right?
Each state's party has its own rules, but there are a couple of things you can look at:
I think what you're seeing the Cruz ground game do is to influence who gets picked to be delegates to the national convention. They will be bound on the first ballot to vote as their state voted, but afterwards, they can switch their vote.
What would prevent the Trump camp from staying engaged in these states to make sure that they have delegates friendly to them selected to go to the national convention?
Messed up system, I realize, but the only way to fix it is to change the rules in each state party's bylaws to have voters pick the delegates at primary/caucus time.
