I did like my Junior year in high school when my teacher read to us the entire book of “Huckleberry Finn”. She read with a lot of excitement and did a great job of the language used in his writing. Miss Augestein She actually made Literature fun.
Thank you so much. I was taping two shows so I couldn’t tape Hannity too. I am a BIG ‘Blacklist” fan. I’m still devastated over last nights show. I wish someone here would give me their take on what happened at the end.
I kinda wish there was a good PA choice for VP. I don’t think Santorum could deliver the goods.

If you go to Hartford, it is well worth taking the tour of the Mark Twain House. The guides are knowledgable and add a lot of details about how the Twain household lived and they relate many of Twain’s amusing quirks. For example, his bed has the headboard facing out into the room. He paid a lot for the bed, and wanted to be able to enjoy looking at the intricate headboard!

My dad talked about Sophie Tucker quite a lot. He remembered radio and the big names back then He would say she’s ,”The Last of the Red Hot Mamas”. I’d wonder what the heck was he talking about. lol I do wish I had listened to my dad more closely. He talked a lot at the dinner table about people in politics and the news. He read the Louisville paper from front to back every day.(still very Liberal)
