Thanks so much for the picture and information. I’ve never been to Ct.
I did like my Junior year in high school when my teacher read to us the entire book of “Huckleberry Finn”. She read with a lot of excitement and did a great job of the language used in his writing. Miss Augestein She actually made Literature fun.

If you go to Hartford, it is well worth taking the tour of the Mark Twain House. The guides are knowledgable and add a lot of details about how the Twain household lived and they relate many of Twain’s amusing quirks. For example, his bed has the headboard facing out into the room. He paid a lot for the bed, and wanted to be able to enjoy looking at the intricate headboard!
