This morning I woke up to an email from my campaign finance director. The email wasn't good news.
I've gotten emails like this before, but let me tell you: this time is different. Our mid-month fundraising report is due in just two days, and we're more than $300,000 short of funding our campaign.
As you know, having the resources necessary to compete is a big factor in running a campaign for president. We've already seen so many candidates who fell short leave this race.
Our campaign is literally running out of money, and to keep campaigning -- taking on Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and the Washington Cartel -- I need your help.

I’ve got more Cruz spam in my junk email folder in the past 6 months than all of my junk mail total amount in the past 6/years.

I’m a Cruz supporter. I get these emails all the time. It doesn’t annoy me. I’m guessing an email with “We just had a record week in fundraising after Wisconsin! but hey, if you still want to give some money - go ahead!”
I get a kick out of the “we are short of our monthly goal” thing.
“So Frank - how much money came in?”
“We have over $2.2 million for this month - beat our goal by 200 Grand!”
“That’s great. But there’s a few more days left - let’s raise our goal to $2.5 million and get that email out ASAP!”
Pretty pathetic to take fundraising tactics as an accurate representation of a candidate’s actual financial state.
You can’t be that gullible, can you?
The Cruz Campaign just made a public release from Cruz himself that says they are going broke.
Maybe it’s time for him to exit the race and endorse Trump, as well as give his delegates to Trump, so Trump can reach the magic 1237, so the GOPe can’t pull a fast one at the convention. This would be the best not just for Trump, but also for Cruz.
The GOPe doesn’t like Cruz either, they are just using him to try to stop Trump, then the get rid of Cruz too.
Cruz needs to wake up and smell the double-cross by the GOPe.

I USED TO get those emails begging for money because his campaign desperately needed money until I kept blocking them until they finally stopped.
