This morning I woke up to an email from my campaign finance director. The email wasn't good news.
I've gotten emails like this before, but let me tell you: this time is different. Our mid-month fundraising report is due in just two days, and we're more than $300,000 short of funding our campaign.
As you know, having the resources necessary to compete is a big factor in running a campaign for president. We've already seen so many candidates who fell short leave this race.
Our campaign is literally running out of money, and to keep campaigning -- taking on Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and the Washington Cartel -- I need your help.
....Snip....
For liberty,
Ted Cruz

Cruz delivered email today to untold number of supporters.
His campaign is going broke!
An indirect way to exit the race?
Trump has already won, who would flush good money down the toilet at this point giving to Cruz?
OK, I’ll be sure to drop a big, fat check in the mail for ya Ted........yeah, sure I will..........
I wouldn’t take it too seriously. All of Cruz’s emails involve some kind of crisis.
I don’t know, but he sounds desperate in the email
With the amount of emails these idiots send begging for money, they must be pissing away money left and right.
Meanwhile, Trump is running a frugal campaign and is still the undisputed front runner....
I thought the race “changed” after his stunning victory in Wisconsin?
And those who are not supporters get lots and lots of emails too !
I checked the official gop site; https://www.gop.com/official-2016-gop-delegate-count/
Trump has 755 and needs 482
Cruz has 521 and needs 716
There are 798 remaining
Trump needs 60.4% of the remaining delegates.
Cruz needs 89.7% of the remaining delegates.

Yeah, he’s going to fight the Washington cartel? LOL
I used to get tons of emails from the Cruz campaign begging for money. It took weeks of “unsubscribing” to get them to finally stop.
If this is true, and not just a scam, it’s a good sign that people are waking up to the fact that Cruz puts the CON in conservative.
Did someone say more cash?
LOL! This kind of talk is a common method of drumming up support. No one who is REALLY going broke admits it.
I know this is a fake crisis and all, but I’d be SO EMBARRASSED to beg for money from the overtaxed American people for tv ads, etc. Has Cruz ever had a real job?
How is he going to pay all the expenses of the delegates if he is broke? I guess hiring Neil Bush as a financial adviser has it’s benefits./s
