I’m a Cruz supporter. I get these emails all the time. It doesn’t annoy me. I’m guessing an email with “We just had a record week in fundraising after Wisconsin! but hey, if you still want to give some money - go ahead!”
I get a kick out of the “we are short of our monthly goal” thing.
“So Frank - how much money came in?”
“We have over $2.2 million for this month - beat our goal by 200 Grand!”
“That’s great. But there’s a few more days left - let’s raise our goal to $2.5 million and get that email out ASAP!”
As of Feb. 29th Cruz had spent $59.5 million, and had $8.5 million on hand. (Not counting PACS).
The day after Wisconsin they say they got $2 million in just one day.
I think that is a big reason why Cruz hasn’t dropped out like so many others have (both this year and previous). He doesn’t have to - he still has money to run a race.
