we need to remember that the enemy is Obama/Hillary/DNC/MSM/Hollywood/Liberal Academia.

Something tells me it would be better that the GOPe be made aware of this. I have never, ever watched the establishment fight tooth and nail against anyone, until Trump. Therein lies the problem, not necessarily with individual voters.

Trump has had the upper hand in the negotiations all week.

Watching him use the blowtorch that was handed to him over the weekend.................well, it’s been a beautiful sight, and I said he would force a change.

It can be argued that Cruz had nothing to do with the corruption and tyranny of CO. Nevertheless it’s all been put on his shoulders, and we all know he’s not strong enough to handle 10% of the attacks Trumps had.

Many here call it whining by Trump, which makes me laugh. Even the RNC has been forced to bow by that so-called-whining.

Cruzers, buckle the belts, ‘cuz from here on out it’s not going to be pretty for Ted.

"Not possible. The rules specify 1237. Not 1100."

I just searched the rules for "1237" and didn't find it. Rule 40d says "majority of votes entitled to be cast". So if Rubio's bound votes aren't entitled to be cast on the first ballot, because he dropped out and/or because rule 40b still applies and he didn't qualify, then that lowers the majority number by (272/2=136) that Trump has to hit. Thus Trump needs 1101. But then there were other delegates that dropped out too.

Enjoy!!!!

After the end of April Primaries in the Northeast, Cruz will be mathematically eliminated for 1237, 1100, or any other number you can dream up.

Nope. After the end of the April Primaries if Cruz loses every delegate he mathematically could still get to 1177.

I agree.

They want the One World NWO idea and can see it. Destroying us is part of that.

Rabid dogs.

All those men who died for us. Women, too. And our vets and wounded.

Makes for #coldanger.

That’s cheating! The rules are the rules.

He’s stealing the election.

It’s the corrupt establishment.
Cristie is crying.
Schumer is laughing.
Hillary is ecstatic.

OK. mathematically he could, but will need over 95% of the remaining delegates in May and June, and I will win the next 1 Billion dollar lotto, before that happens.

Kasich 46%

Trump 13%

Cruz 13%

All delegates bound on the first round. Might it be that 13% wouldn't be enough to apportion any delegates to Cruz? Meanwhile, if Kasich can get in and stay in, can he give those delegates to Cruz?

In OH, Trump is a lot more popular than the result indicates. I don't know how that would play in the state. The delegate process is impossible, so it's probably all insiders who became delegates.

Probably true but people still buy lotto tickets and Cruz shouldn't drop out until someone hits 1237.

If this is reasonable I hate to see out of control. ++++ Yes you do.

All I keep hearing about Colorado is that the Trump crowd is whining and crying about the delegate results. But the thing is, if you are here in CO, like I am, you'll not notice any whining and crying. What you will hear is the tools of democracy being cleaned and oiled and the click-clack of thousands of home reloading stations at work.

I checked the official gop site; https://www.gop.com/official-2016-gop-delegate-count/

Trump has 755 and needs 482
Cruz has 521 and needs 716

There are 798 remaining

Trump needs 60.4% of the remaining delegates.
Cruz needs 89.7% of the remaining delegates.

It was a Trump delegate

You clearly get your news from inside your own head. Or some other area.

Given the split you posted, I would say an equitable distribution if kasich dropped out would be half to Cruz and half to Trump. But I think the way the system works is smokey back rooms, and the delegates split based on whatever machination happens out of public view.

That threshold happens to be 1,237 delegates. No one has ever credibly suggested that a candidate with a plurality of delegates must be anointed as the nominee.... Those now arguing this are the ones wanting to suspend the rules

The headline omits trumps name. That kind of hatred can be directed only at someone trying to save the country from the bastards who’ve turned the GOP into a full blown opportunist country wrecking gang of well dressed pricks

MJ Program is all in for TRUMP.

Listening to Lobbie Louie is the fast track to fanatically and error filled gas intake.

You can bank TRUMP information on MJ.

If you are still a FOXMegyn boober toober, you are behind the eight, on the subject of TRUMP, his campaign and his future.

Stay that way. The smokey back room stuff fits the Cartel Cruz fans.

The TRUMP TRAIN is rolling right along, on the ground, where the people are making him their nominee.

The convention serves as a “runoff” should neither candidate get the 50% in the primary..... many states have laws that ‘force a runoff’ between the top two candidates when neither win ‘a majority’....this means the candidate who finishes first can still lose the runoff.

The race is still on...propaganda will be.....everybody thinks they have the right math equation which means nothing til the states vote and someone actually wins the delegate count required.....

What people don’t consider is , Trump has been ‘awarded’ a delegate bonus of 22% ‘above’ his actual raw support from voters. .... so he’s got nothing to complain about when it comes to the rules, because he has benefited from some of these very rules that have garnered him more delegates than the vote totals he’s amassed have actually earned him. ...

But if he gets 1,099 he can’t win.
