Something tells me it would be better that the GOPe be made aware of this. I have never, ever watched the establishment fight tooth and nail against anyone, until Trump. Therein lies the problem, not necessarily with individual voters.

The Republican Establishment has almost always used every trick in the book to get moderate candidates or at least candidates that will play ball with the global interests.
In the book “A Choice Not An Echo” it was exposed how the nomination process is used to allow “kingmakers” to get their candidates nominated.
Conservatives who wish to counter this, can begin to “take over” the Republican Party leadership. This starts at the precinct level - only costs about $10.00 to register to run as Committee Chairman.
In a recent election almost half of these positions were vacant. Once elected, the Committee Chairs get to vote for who the Party leaders will be, etc. etc.
For the people who are not happy with the Republican Party and their leadership, my advice is to get busy and replace it, and change the rules to be what you consider fair-most especially if you are young and able.
That still doesn’t change the fact that many of our politicians today are simply not that interested in John Q Citizen, and have reasons other than service to their community as motives.
I pray daily for the return of our Country to the founding principles and people who will truly represent the hard working men and women of this country, but I feel very strange sometimes, like I have awakened in a bizzaro world that only vaguely resembles my country.
