Reince Priebus, the beleaguered and balding Republican National Committee chairman, was asked a few days ago about his mane.
“How much gray hair do you think you’re going to have by December?” CNN’s Jake Tapper inquired.
“Gray is fine,” the party boss replied. “I just want to make sure I have hair.”

This could be the first time in 160 years when a major American political party splits, and Priebus, the young technocrat from Wisconsin brought in to improve the Republicans’ infrastructure, is in over his head.

We should all be very grateful to Cruz and especially his followers here. They are the ones who have now blown the lid off the Republican party and exposed the corruption, the lying, the unapologetic acceptance of completely immoral behavior and their willingness to make a mockery of Christianity. It may seem stupid to not even try to cover the crap that they have been pulling, such as disenfranchising millions of voters and saying only that they are “following the rules”.
We can thank Cruz and his supporters for making all of us realize that those who claim to be “true constitutional conservatives” can actually be every bit as dishonest, immoral, and disgusting as those on the other side. I personally had no idea that this was possible until the lying the cheating and the outright hypocrisy from Cruz and his followers. I would have never suspected that any of this could happen just a couple months ago. You have opened my eyes. I am disgusted by all of this, but thank you Cruzers for waking me up to reality.

Cruz thinks the GOPe will back his play at the convention.
The RNC thinks the media will back their play once Trump is dumped.
These two suppositions, are nowhere near reality.

Lord knows I’m no fan of Priebus, but I call foul based on the idea that the media will always trash our people in public as long as they can get away with it. And our people let them over and over again. Trump doesn’t and won’t.
The GOPe is so confused right now that they are trying to come up with a way to reference the convention in Cleveland as an auto show, a Shriner’s convention, or a streetwalker’s training seminar, each of which would give them better press than the actual convention will.

Predominant Republicans are jettisoning plans to attend then convention. It just dawened on them that Trump is likely going to be the nominee, and they don’t want photos showing up for decades with them standing in the same arena with him.
One the outside chance Curz might pull it off, they are just as troubled.

Bad choices tend to do that to a person.
Could have garnered an amazing amount of positive press with Trump in the race, but Priebus was too timid to stand with a real winner, as opposed to what he really is.
