YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS! CRUZ SUPPORTERS ATTEMPT COUP AT EAGLE FORUM!
Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly has been a national leader of the conservative movement since the publication of her best-selling 1964 book, A Choice Not An Echo. She has been a leader of the pro-family movement since 1972 when she led the fight to defeat the Equal Rights Amendment.
Phyllis Schlafly is 91 years-old.
On March 11, 2016 conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly endorsed Donald Trump for President at his St. Louis rally.
But not everyone in her organization, Eagle Forum or her family agreed with Phyllis Schlaflys decision.
Last week Phyllis Schlafly released several board members for disloyalty to the organization. The group was planning to hold rogue board meeting to take over the Eagle Forum.
Today the rogue Cruz supporters attempted a coup.
They held a non-sanctioned meeting and blocked Phyllis Schlafly from their conference call.
This email was sent out Monday afternoon.
St. Louis, Missouri:
At 2pm today, 6 directors of Eagle Forum met in an improper, unprecedented telephone meeting. I objected to the meeting and at 2:11pm, I was muted from the call. The meeting was invalid under the Bylaws but the attendees purported to pass several motions to wrest control of the organization from me. They are attempting to seize access to our bank accounts, to terminate employees, and to install members of their own Gang of 6 to control the bank accounts and all of Eagle Forum.
The members of their group are: Eunie Smith of Alabama, Anne Cori of Missouri, Cathie Adams of Texas, Rosina Kovar of Colorado, Shirley Curry of Tennessee, and Carolyn McLarty of Oklahoma.
This kind of conduct will not stand and I will fight for Eagle Forum and I ask all men and women of good will to join me in this fight.
This is a developing story-

ok sport, you lack the ability to show respect for others. A trait not uncommon in your group.
” it will take a man with the backing of the people who have been hit the hardest-being the working class.”
Stalin, Lenin, Hitler, Chavez, Pol Pot, Mugabe, and Mao all had the backing of the “working class”. You are sounding very communist.

cruz has establishment surrogates as we have seen in the last few weeks.
He is a politician who thinks the letter of the law will prevail in the court of public opinion.

This is disturbing to say the least... I have never been a fan of Phyllis, but this is her forum, and she deserves respect. It does reek of thuggery.

Right on sonny! You have dropped to the level expected from Cruz supporters.
You are in fact lying about the death threats and then resort to the usual whimpering when you get caught in your lie.
Then call myself a communist. Ya right. You are a real work of art sonny. The only thing sonny. I will call you what you are to your face you coward. I wont hide behind my keyboard.

uz is a POS and maybe 10,000 people across the entire country will really care about Cruz.
Is that why Ted Cruz CRUSHED Sleazy tRump in Wisconsin with a massive 531,000 votes?
To: longtermmemmory
As I thought. Not a shred of evidence that he has anything to do with something that I doubt even happened. No credible sourcing on this item at all.

This time we dont have the luxury of vetting for the social issues etc...
The Supreme Court picks are not a luxury.
The slaughter of babies is NEVER off the table.
I have NEVER told the Trump supporters not vote for their man. My values are the same values as they were four years ago. ONE year ago, a lot of people here were just fine with Cruz as a nominee. Now they think Cruz is the devil incarnate. THEY have changed. The continuing Cruz supporters have not.
You don't trust Cruz on Immigration. I don't trust Trump on anything else. If he gets the nomination, I pray he proves me wrong. I don't expect to change anybody's mind on matters of trust. It is largely beyond argument.
Don't call Cruz supporters like me a Romney-supporter, and we are good. Support your man without casting aspersions on people you will need to ally with in six months.

You post does nothing to advance our disagreement to a resolution.
Whose words are these:
Look at the names as they correspond to some in todays phone call that is claimed to be improper insurgents but are her board members she installed two days ago
Do you find that statement to be accurate, or not?
-- As for citing that those of us that are strong willed get difficult to deal with by other family members, I was referring to my first hand family experience. I am a senior citizen and merely speaking of a fact of life. --
Yeah, well, it is pretty much common knowledge that people come in all manner, including psycopaths, sociopaths and adolescents too.
At any rate, I have nothing further to say to you.

Acknowledge your sin and try to do better in the future is the maximum any Calvinist I know of every says is required and many don't even believe a public acknowledgment of any kind is required or even a good thing. If you acknowledge your sin but don't ask God for forgiveness, then it would seem that you aren't really that sorry for your sin. FWIW all the Calvinists I know (And I know hundreds of them) would all agree that anyone who does not ask God for forgiveness of sins is not a Christian. The mark of a Christian is an abhorrence of sin and a life of Repentance.
REPENTANCE
ACCORDING TO 2 CORINTHIANS 7:11
John Calvin's
Institutes of the Christian Religion
Vol 3 pages 76-86
20. IN WHAT SENSE IS REPENTANCE THE PRIOR CONDITION OF FORGIVENESS? a Now the hatred of sin, which is the beginning of repentance, first gives us access to the knowledge of Christ, who reveals himself to none but poor and afflicted sinners, who groan, toil, are heavy-laden, hunger, thirst, and pine away with sorrow and misery b(a) [ Isaiah 61:1-3; Matthew 11:5, 28; Luke 4:18]. Accordingly, we must strive toward repentance itself, devote ourselves to it throughout life, and pursue it to the very end if we would abide in Christ. b For he came to call sinners, but it was to repentance [cf. Matthew 9:13]. He was sent to bless the unworthy, but in order that every one may turn from his wickedness [ Acts 3:26; cf. Acts 5:31]. Scripture is full of such testimonies. For this reason, when God offers forgiveness of sins, he usually requires repentance of us in turn, implying that his mercy ought to be a cause for men to repent. He says, "Do judgment and righteousness, for salvation has come near." [ Isaiah 56:1 p.] Again, "A redeemer will come to Zion, and to those in Jacob who repent of their sins." [ Isaiah 59:20.] Again, "Seek the Lord while he can be found, call upon him while he is near; let the wicked man forsake his way and the unrighteousness of his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him." [ Isaiah 55:6-7 p.] Likewise, "Turn again, and repent, that your sins may be blotted out." [ Acts 3:19.] Yet we must note that this condition is not so laid down as if our repentance were the basis of our deserving pardon, but rather, because the Lord has determined to have pity on men to the end that they may repent, he indicates in what direction men should proceed if they wish to obtain grace. Accordingly, so long as we dwell in the prison house of our body we must continually contend with the defects of our corrupt nature, indeed with our own natural soul. a Plato sometimes says that the life of a philosopher is a meditation upon death; but we may more truly say that the life of a Christian man is a continual effort and exercise in the mortification of the flesh, till it is utterly slain, and God's Spirit reigns in us. Therefore, I think he has profited greatly who has learned to be very much displeased with himself, not so as to stick fast in this mire and progress no farther, but rather to hasten to God and yearn for him in order that, having been engrafted into the life and death of Christ, he may give attention to continual repentance. b Truly, they who are held by a real loathing of sin cannot do otherwise. For no one ever hates sin unless he has previously been seized with a love of righteousness. a This thought, as it was the simplest of all, so has it seemed to me to agree best with the truth of Scripture.(Sins for which there is no repentance or pardon, 21-25)

Received the above email message (actually subject only-no message) from LibbyLu. Im saving her the trouble of having to spread it far and wide on the internet. Itll be on google in moments with this post.
Guess the TrueBlueConservatives who would rather allow Hillary to waltz into the White House if Trump is our Republican nominee rather than voting for him are going to attempt to take down FR.
Good luck with that.

Well, DUH, and you figure that since Trump doesn't like asking for forgiveness that means he never does (albeit not in front of the TeeVee Camera with tears in his eyes and a Mormon friend patting his back) or that he tries to avoid doing things he needs to ask forgiveness for?
You may be dense or you may just not want to admit you stepped in chit, but either way, you're just sinking deeper.
