Calling the Colorado Republican Partys decision not to hold a primary popular vote a scandal, talk-radio host Michael Savage declared Sen. Ted Cruz should disavow the move and call for a vote.
What just happened in Colorado should, frankly, disqualify Cruz, who claims to be a constitutional conservative, Savage told his listeners Monday.
Savage is a strong supporter of GOP front-runner Donald Trump, who has been a regular guest on The Savage Nation. (full article at link)

No such document could be written about Cruz because there's nothing bad to say about him. If a liberal PAC made up a document talking about how bad Cruz would be on the issues of gun control, abortion rights, Gitmo, fracking, taxes, Obamacare, etc. I'd just laugh at it.
Cruz spoke out for a wall and deportations and many other forms of border enforcement in his Senate campaign. This was in 2012, the same year Trump was on TV saying deporting all the illegals would be too tough and we had to have compassion for them instead.
“Im not aware that the CO caucus was tainted.”
the colorado caucus process is a sick, anti-democratic joke. About half a dozen people show up for each precinct caucus, and “elect” people to attend county assemblies and Congressional district assemblies; the county assemblies “elect” people to the state convention. The CD and State assemblies “elect” then delegates, who are supposedly unbound.
A couple thousand people out of a population of 5 million participate.
Cruz was on board with what all conservatives were saying at the time, representing the conservative viewpoint faithfully. No one could foresee the Obamacare decision at that time, partly because it to this day contradicts all of Roberts’ other conservative decisions which he continues to make. Roberts just got cold feet on being labeled the guy who killed Obamacare.

None of that compares to being chummy with the TOP media, political and business establishment in the country, and having Hillary Clinton attend your wedding. These are both friendships and financial relationships with truly major national power-players, not to mention his relationship with NBC. It’s ridiculous to wear the mantle of outsider when you’re at Trump’s level of fame, wealth, power and social status.
The kid who inherited millions from his parents usually turns out to do pretty well too.
If Trump had come out BEFORE the caucuses were held and asked the other candidates to boycott them because of unfair rules, then he would have a case to make on being for the voters. Since he waited until after he lost do it, he lost all credibility on the issue.
whose fault is that?
Admin Mod. If I’m being a pest - let me know.
But this is the third thread that dyno has followed me to as he continues to stalk, harass, troll and so on.
I know there were definite rules against this sort of thing, and I will not just sit back and watch this stuff happen.
LOL!
‘Cruz spoke out for a wall and deportations and many other forms of border enforcement in his Senate campaign.’
The wall was just campaign rhetoric to get elected. Once in the Senate, Cruz clammed up about the wall. He didn’t mention it again until Trump started pounding the issue.
I believe in run-off elections. When no candidate gets over 50% of the vote, there is no way to determine who the voters want as their candidate without having a run-off. The delegate system is an imperfect form of run-off, but it’s better than saying that whoever gets a plurality (but not a majority) of delegates becomes the presumptive winner. A plurality not being enough has been the rule since the beginning of conventions and is the same rule we have for the electors in the electoral college.
Cruz won his Senate race in a run-off after losing to Dewhurst in the first vote (Dewhurst was in 1st place but with under 50%). Just one example of many run-off elections held in states where that’s the law.
The voting is not complete yet. The biggest complaint people had about the primaries before is that the whole thing is over before their state gets to vote. They feel disenfranchised. They don’t have that complaint this time.
There is no way Cruz can be mathematically eliminated even on the first ballot until California votes, if I understand the convention rules correctly. He can pick up all the unbound delegates (over 100) and get all of Rubio and Kasich’s delegates if they release them, all of which I believe could vote for Cruz on the first ballot.
The party is not united behind Trump, and that has way more to do with Trump than it has to do with Cruz.
“And how does Cruz get credit for a “ground game” when he was simply handed the delegates by a GOP Establishment that backs him?”
I’m really worried that’s what the Party did in the District caucuses in MO Sat. - Mine just had a slate of delegates announced, with no way to challenge or to know who any of them were for. Red-shirted Cruz operatives all over the place. I’m waiting for something to come out about MO, as we have a lot more delegates than CO. does, and Trump won our Primary by less than 1%. I can’t find a thing yet.
Oh please. Insert eye-rolling emoticon here.
Logical fallacy: Changing the subject. Moving the goalposts. Tu Quoque.
Just because someone missed the chance to correct something that’s wrong doesn’t make it stop being wrong.
“whose fault is that? “
colorado is a mail-in ballot state for all elections. a few hundred thousand would have voted in an actual primary, whereas the caucuses were held on a weeknight when people have to take care of their families and then go to work the next day.
family members don’t have time to waste on a meaningless process where party insiders are going to steal the whole thing at the end anyway.
So true, so true, so true....also a few earned some new respect.

Notice we aren’t hearing anything about the “Washington Cartel” from Cruz lately? Gee, I wonder why that is? Could it be he’s relying on the “Washington Cartel” to deliver delegates to Cruz? What a two faced bought and paid for career politician Ted Cruz is.
The ultimate “busted in the act” photo of the past decade.
