There are plenty of reasons to dislike Donald Trump. He’s a crass opportunist, who, for all his talk of sticking it to the freedom-squishing status quo, has more than his fair share of authoritarian tendencies. But this protest in a sleepy New York suburb, and the wretching that Trump has sparked among the cosmopolitan classes nationwide, isn’t really about him. It’s about his supporters: the dumb rednecks who, Sally and Co tell us, know not what they do.
Trump may not go the distance at the Republican convention in July, but this fear and loathing of the masses is here to stay.

My memory says that in all the early primaries Trump was winning demographics across the board....rich/poor, white/black, young/old, highschool/college/graduate.
And, I too have multiple graduate degrees and numerous certifications beyond that.

A degree was not that important at that time because a high school graduate had far more education than recent college graduates who cannot pass the eighth grade final from my era!
By the time I finished high school I knew more about the United States Constitution and the rules of congress than our current president or most current members of the house or senate.

LOL, poppycock! All one has to do is go to the heavily blue voting districts, stand on line, among all those rocket scientists, nuclear physicists, and brain surgeons waiting to vote. Riiiiiight. I believe its called Democrat projection? I still say you would find more Republican voters on the right side of the bell curve. Democrats have to tell their voters they are smarter, only to make them feel as if they really are.

Another pseudo-intellectual that assumes correlation means causation, i.e. Trump voters average less education, therefore because they are uneducated (and by extension, stupid, deluded, easy to fool, etc) they vote for Trump.
Or one could deduce that voters with less education have been disproportionally affected by stuff like globalization and jobs going to China, competition for jobs with illegals, more likely to suffer the effects of crime (because they don’t live in a gated community), they decide to vote for someone they think will address their issues.
Colleged educated, 6 digit salary here, voting for Trump.

I just have to laugh. They’ve been saying trumpsters are stupid. Can I help it that trump speaks the truth and I, like so many others who have a masters degree and were democrats their whole lives now have to switch and vote for a republican. Is it my fault? Blame it on trump. He can take the heat. I’m not only educated, but I’m educated to the fact trump is the only hope we have, black, white, Hispanic, et al. And what is life without hope? The last 8 years, that’s what. I voted for Obomb-out. Even went to his inauguration. I had hope for a few moments...
