Hopefully the Trump campaign will improve soon in securing delegates. It seems winning elections is not enough.

Exactly.
Trump is a shrewd businessman. I have confidence in him.

I don’t care if he does. Trump winning New York clears all Cruz’s efforts. Cruz will end up 3rd in all the states voting in the next 3 weeks. Cruz keeps telling voters to “F” off he doesn’t need them. Cruz is pure evil and arrogant. Watch God forbid if he’s the nomination, he will come crawling back to the voters. Gross! He’ll use the old “but Hillary” tactic. FUTC!

It is best for Trump to not be involved with the “insider” games, and win over real voters, not party hacks

Cruz wins “TRICKIER” delegate contests....
Title says it all.
Cruz uses trickery to win delegates...and he and his supporters are proud of tricky ways used to pilfer the votes from the will of the people...people who stood in line for hours....
Sort of reminds me of the insider trading permitted by congresscritters...they get to legally trade on insider information...legal and very lucrative but shameful and immoral....

In the last few days, the Cruz camp's standard of morality has gone from Bible thumping to "as long as it doesn't get you arrested, it's OK."

It’s never been enough apparently. Have we all forgotten the Electoral College? The primaries are a rehearsal for the general election. We know the Democrats will be using every avenue, legal and illegal. None of our candidates should be naive about the mechanics. If votes were all we needed, then why would we even have delegates?

no, that’s not best
it has cost him many delegates. the rules may suck but everyone knew them going in.
he needs to get involved with “insider” games and fast.
it’s called a ground game.

In a couple of weeks Trump is going to pull so far ahead, Cruz won’t be able to steal enough delegates to catch up.

Yes, that is what a lot of his supporters are using now, telling us that we have to still vote for Cruz because Hillary would be worse.
It isn't going to happen.

Cruz will not bring Conservatives what they desire. He will bring on the brokered
convention, at which the Global Establishment will choose a candidate (not Cruz, who
will be offered something). And Cruz followers will over time realize that the Global
Establishment will proceed, to the destruction of all that we hold dear.
But they will heed no warning.
