Austin police say they have arrested a homeless 17-year-old they believe is connected in the death of University of Texas at Austin student Haruka Weiser. The Austin Police Department says Meechaiel Khalil Criner was booked into the Travis County Jail around 2 a.m. Friday and charged with murder. His bond has been set at $1 million.
Police made the link to Criner after the Austin Fire Department alerted them to a trash fire they were called to on Monday, April 4 at 2900 Medical Arts Street, which is just off-campus. At the time on Monday, a woman called 911 to report the trash fire and told authorities she saw the person who started the fire. When firefighters arrived, they found Criner who had a womans bicycle in his possession as well as a small blue duffel bag that resembles the one that Haruka had.

"I like to stand up for people", Criner said, "I like to help others." His future goals are unclear, but there is one thing Criner aims to accomplish. "Every day, I feel people don't think I'm capable of much," Criner said. "What I want to leave behind is my name. I want them to know who Meechsiel Criner is."
Well, he's certainly accomplished his goal. The filthy scum murdered a beautiful young lady.
Are you sure he wasn’t just practicing his skills for future employment as a coroner or cardiologist?
I wanna piece of you know who son please just 15 minutes with him
how can someone in care of the State of Texas be called homeless??
“Well, he’s certainly accomplished his goal. The filthy scum murdered a beautiful young lady. “
And sadly, we will watch as some slimy ACLU lawyer will wheedle away at his crime in court with all this BS about his being “disadvandaged and mentally challenged,” and in the end, the State of Texas will be disposed to house and feed this cretin for the next 60 to 70 years! Although I will say that if he’s convicted of murder, at least Texas will kill him, which is more than I can say for a lot of states.
If hes 17 he can’t be executed. Damn.
I bet they still won’t cut his nuts off after being proven guilty of rape and murder.
Like twenty years in prison and out.
Apparently he ran away from foster care.
It will be interesting to see the Texas CPS file on him to to see if there were indications of his being violent.
Black on Minority violence is ignored by the MSM as much as Black on Black and Black on white violence...
Texas can’t execute him, but they will give him life without possibility of parole.
Watching Hannity as I type this, and they are giving Hillary Clinton hell for her comment about the black youth crime “super predator” comment back in the day, and this guy is exactly that.
I have a gut feeling they are not telling us everything this piece of garbage allegedly did to this precious girl.

“The minimum age in Texas to receive the death penalty is 17 years of age.”
But with his history, his tax payer paid attorney will get it reduced and he’ll be out before Haruka would have graduated from college.
Please pray for the parents of this beautiful young woman.
A beautiful woman, with eyes of compassion and a countnenace of promise.
All destroyed by a cretin.
Lord, have mercy.
They are not.
They are also not telling us if he is a legal immigrant.
Supposedly he previously was picked on at school because of his thick “African” accent.
Will we ever know?
My daughter new her family. She never met the girl, but it hit home just the same.
She lives in Austin and works at the University of Texas at Austin, and her daughter, my granddaughter is also training to be a dancer.
Sad world we live in when you g men who could be our presidents son are viciously murdering young white women all across the i country.
All Obama wants to do about it is force landlords to rent to convicted rapists and murders.
God help us.
