It’s predictable; it’s transparent (if you dig into it); and yet it remains as one of the most undiscussed aspects to the current political climate:
Multi-media political pundits, including big name National Radio Talk Show Hosts, being paid by DC operatives, Super-PACs, and Campaigns to protect the establishment figures.
They hide, at least they try to, behind layers of constructed LLC’s intended to protect them from sunlight. They also rely upon delays in legally required reporting timeframes to carry out their goals and avoid discovery until after they have been successful in their efforts.
Another example surfaces today. Erick Erickson’s new faux-conservative media enterprise “Resurgent” launches a defense of House Speaker Paul ‘Omnibus’ Ryan, with an opposition research effort against Ryan’s opponent, businessman Paul Nehlen.
Gee, that didn’t take long.
Erickson formerly of Red State launched Resurgent to provide a new mode of attack against any political insurgent who doesn’t fit the Washington DC approved definitions of “conservatism”. A principle highlighted within his own establishment bona-fides as Erickson proclaimed: “Governor Jeb Bush is the most conservative governor I know“.

You know you are dealing with a shill when you tell them an uncomfortable truth, and they respond with something that sounds straight out of the Cruz campaign war room. Not something that a normal human would say in response, but a poll-tested, deflection or outright lie. Then you know you are dealing with someone being paid by the campaign, or by the Bush family to stop Trump through the useful idiots who support Cruz. Either way, someone is getting paid to do all this posting, 24/7.
We need an Erick Erickson Enterprise whose mission it is to put in one place all things, people, all politics, all influence and monies concerning Erick Erickson.

Eric...interesting. Isn’t he the one who OFTEN fills in for Rush when Rush is unavailable? Rush’s choice or the choice of another? Most interesting as Rush seems to be drawn to a non-NBC President - something entirely not Constitutional nor Conservative. What would Rush say when this knowledge is brought into the light? Get him outta here? Poor Rush, trying to keep everyone happy just as P. T. Barnum wanted to do.

I wouldn’t know who the hell Eric Erickson is nor what RedState is if it were not posted from time to time on FR.
Is this outlet at all a material news or analysis source? Do many people read this garbage? I say garbage because I have done a little background research on Erickson and his cohorts at RedState. I inferred with high confidence it was not worth my time, added no value to insight or information, was mostly composed of characters touting their self-importance.
Was I wrong?
Yes, I see a few who are here sometimes and they seem just like dedicated Cruzbots, but there are others (LongDivisionNyet, IowaKnavid, several others, who tag team the forum and make sure to get in early in every article, post repetitiously, contest every opposing view with inanity, deflection or insult, and just generally, disrupt the site. It is their job.
What’s Nehlen’s chances of winning?
This obese dodo needs to muzzle himself. If he subs for Rush again, I will stop listening. He needs some mental counseling.
A few years back Erickson was attacking Mark Levin for a having a pac buy $400,000 of his books. Then there was Armstrong Williams who took about a quarter million to shill for No Child Left Behind. These people should have disclaimers on their radio shows.
It’s easy for me. I have zip zero trust or faith left for most everyone in the District of Deceit, regardless of party affiliation.
