A teacher in the Connecticut town that was site of one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history was arrested Wednesday after police say he brought a gun onto school grounds.
Jason M. Adams, a teacher at Newtown Middle School, was carrying a concealed firearm for which he had a permit, Newtown police said. He was stopped inside the school by security personnel Wednesday before 9 a.m., the Newtown Public School District and police said.

Gun free zone?
They probably have schools designated as a “gun free zone”
Just to let you know, your CCW is useless in New Jersey (and probably New York City as well) we see too many out of staters get caught with a ccw and end up facing a 3 year mandatory felony gun charge, nuts
That’ll teach him for thinking ahead.
If that school is designated a “Gun Free Zone”, Jason M. Adams will no longer be a teacher at Newtown Middle School nor will he have a concealed weapons permit because he will be a felon. Hell, he will not legally have any firearms. A sitting duck.
What prompted the stop and search? Was it a metal detector, or was he ratted out?
went to MA about 5 years ago and was looking to bring my sidearm.
I knew I could go through GA, SC, etc, but then I saw the laws up there and said screw that.
Jason, you big dummy! If you had shown up a while back with that piece you could have saved all those kids.
Indiana o changed the law to allow for guns on a school campus with certain limits precisely BECAUSE of the CT shooting.
We did just the opposite of what Liberal states did in response to Newtown.
These morons clearly want another shooting to happen at this school. If it wasn’t for the fact that the victims are brainwashed children who have no choice in the decisions their socialist retard parents and teachers have made, I wouldn’t even care at this point.
Trump proposes the national ccw law, where your ccw would be good in all states, like your state issued diver’s license
I know, some will say constitutional carry and we shouldn’t even have ccws, and I agree, but the realist in me says the national ccw law would prevent future new jersey or new York gun felonies just because the ccw does not cross state lines.
Plus a national law like that would force states like New Jersey to fairly issue CCWs, not just to law enforcement and the well connected, out of the entire state of New Jersey, less than 1,500 people CCWs that are not law enforcement or former law enforcement. Very small percent of the population. Hypocrite story: our liberal gun grabbing state senator president has bragged that he has a state issued CCW....
mine issued here is good in most southern states, maybe the south should boycott NY city seeing as that Mayor and other liberal cities like banning states where we want to keep men out of female bathrooms etc.
As for Trump then it is another reason why I have voted for him.
Yep, since it worked out so well in the past.
“A teacher in the Connecticut town that was site of one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history was arrested Wednesday after police say he brought a gun onto school grounds. “
Maybe if he had a gun with him at the time of the school shooting, he may have been able to stop the gunman
This is exactly what is needed: discourage the solution to maniacs shooting up schools. /s
I don’t understand how Newtown could have happened. I mean, it was a gun-free zone and they had signage posted to that effect! /s
People have a fit, even if the school *security* guard has a weapon.
I believe a national law would be precedent for a future Obama type to impose national gun “control.”
