You have no idea how much Cruz is despised.. an exit poll asked the question if Trump was the nominee would you vote for him and also asked if Cruz was the nominee would you vote for him.. Guess what? More people would not vote for Cruz than Trump...
Katich cost Trump Ohio -- a much larger state then WI, and a must-win for the GOP. Cruz never had a prayer.
Neither did Cruz have a prayer in Florida.
And I notice how Cruz won decisively in Arizona as well.
Utah was the Romney factor; Wisconsin is the home of the GOP-e (Ryan, Rancid Penis, Walker).

I had no illusions about WI. Polls are crap, they don’t matter.
The real signal was the failed Walker recall and all what that conveys about the general mindset of voters in WI.
But it’s remarkable that Trump is holding up as well as he has. Expecting now that the Madison-Milwaukee wave has passed, the narrowing begins as the Trump strongpoints in the outlying areas comes in.
Trump can take some delegates here with the CD rules of WI.
Tell me how Cruz wins New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania. They (rightfully) despise Texans there.

I think we’re screwed either way. The GOP is seen as a joke by most of the electorate.
If this were a brand, they would change the name of the brand.

Exactly, if Cruz were a true patriot he would not have ran due to his birth status. All his campaign is doing is ensuring the destruction of the natural born clause.
Cruz supporters would like you to believe that King George could come to the states, knock up an American woman, and the founders would consider that child eligible to hold the highest office in the land. Absolutely crazy, divided loyalties at birth is EXACTLY what the clause was about.
Oh just wait til California Cruz will have a win like Wisconsin there.......besides both Cruz and Trump will likely go to convention and it will be either or by delegate vote......no matter what the Gop think in their little brains about changing rules, both Cruz and Trump have 80% of the delegates and the revenue to keep them if necessary.
I think that Colorado and Wyoming and wrapping up their caucus/primary process this weekend. It’s weird, I admit. But I think it’s a *process* rather than a one-day event.
