Now this… The National Enquirer is releasing a new report this week on the cheating scandal and it doesn’t look good for Ted Cruz. Via Radar Online:
Radar has learned The National ENQUIRER will this week report its findings of yet another exhaustive and investigative probe that will quote journalist detectives who claim the mystery candidate almost certainly “has to be Cruz.”
Investigator Wayne Madsen, who was on a team of reporters hired by Hustler Magazine’s boisterous owner Larry Flynt to investigate the madam, told The ENQUIRER that Cruz should be concerned!
“If Montgomery Sibley has what he says he has, it has to be Cruz,” he said in an interview — an advance copy of which was provided to Radar.

“Going on what I know about the other male candidates still in the race, it isn’t any of them, and Palfrey didn’t provide call boys, so it wasn’t Hillary.”
Before a restraining order was slapped on the records, Sibley said he supplied copies of the papers from three of the four boxes to Dan Moldea, another Washington investigative reporter who interviewed the madam for a possible book after she was busted for prostitution in 2006.

Flynt is involved. Interesting, for some time now, when I try to think of who Trump reminds me of, it comes back to a mix of General Patton and Larry Flynt, a little heavy on the Flynt.
Reasoned arguments have become the unicorns of this campaign cycle. That's really sad, because this was the best chance we had since 1980 to take advantage of Democrat stumbles to broaden and expand the message of conservatism. Instead, we got a male-only mud wrestling match.
And that's just gross.
The reality is out in the area of east PA I live most folks who have been paying attention think Cruz had two affairs. Not saying it is proved, just saying that seems to be the general feel of folks, who are not in the Cruz corner.
In fairness it must be said there is no proof, which is how the typical Cruz advocate responds to the general opinion. absolutely just and correct comment, but the reality is folks have to make decisions based on imperfect information all the time. In so far as I have been able to glean, the evidence that has turned folks to belief in 2 affairs is three things:
1) Cruz’s very odd press conference with Carla F. and his very lawyerly response to the Daily Mail question.
2) The 500,000 dollar payment to Carla’s pact, to most folks it looks like a payoff to Sarah B.
3) The entire tweet history and CNN appearances of Amanda C. She seems like a women invested in a man, as in emotionally invested. Oddly enough it is the women I know who have referred to this last bit of evidence the most. I note women seem to be able to read other women’s emotional states far better than most men, they read her as infatuated with the guy.
Main point is you can make fun of NE (with good reason) as much as you like, but how folks view the entire thing is something else. The damage, such as it is has already been done, though I am not sure in this current climate it is really damaging at all. Regardless most folks I know seem to think he had two affairs (not all are trump followers by any means).
Why can’t Trump (and a lot of his supporters) see that the best thing he could possibly do is speak out in defense of Cruz on stuff like this?
Just like Cruz did at the Chicago riots? That’s when Cruz lost my support.

Sadly you are probably correct. And this cycle we had what I consider two very weak Democrat candidates to run against. A poor campaigner under the cloud of investigation, and an avowed Socialist.
So dang sad.
I never said that fake sex scandals based entirely on manufactured rumors and innuendo were not effective. They are. They are also vile and a mark of desperation.
That is one for sure. But, she was not herself running for POTUS. The way she handled it was unequivocal. The way Ted has handled it is deflect to Trump. He and Heidi, it seems have finally come to an agreement, as he will supposedly, this eve state on national TV that he has always been faithful to Heidi. To be sure, I admit I am biased, but I do not believe him. This story Vs that of Palin seems to have much more too it. If it is all BS, then sobeit, but if not, then we will have witnessed a new level in political arrogance.

If that were true, then Trump would have a majority of the vote (he does not) and/or a majority of the delegates (he does not).
BTW, that is what the word "majority" means - more than all of the rest put together. 37% of the votes cast to date is not a majority. Neither is 48% of the delegates awarded.
Glad to see things worked out in the end for Kristen Dunst.
