On the eve of the Wisconsin primaries, top Republicans are becoming increasingly vocal about their long-held belief that Speaker Paul Ryan will wind up as the nominee, perhaps on the fourth ballot at a chaotic Cleveland convention.
One of the nations best-wired Republicans, with an enviable prediction record for this cycle, sees a 60 percent chance of a convention deadlock and a 90 percent chance that delegates turn to Ryan ergo, a 54 percent chance that Ryan, wholl start the third week of July as chairman of the Republican National Convention, will end it as the nominee.

Holy common sense Batman!
It is laughable and sad at how people allow their hate to blind their thinking.
No thanks.
I don’t think I have never seen one candidate with one win stay in the race and camp out where the other candidate is weak like cruz.
So Kasich goes tot he north east, cruz goes west and Trump has to fight them on two front knowing either one cannot get the delegates before the convention.
Has to fight the media, the lies, the establishment he had to sign a pledge too.
Wisconsin voters read Politico?
And you have empirical evidence confirming such an illogical scenario?
CA....
The Scripted damage control talking point fails when the article is one of many such articles from many sources.
Reading Politic headlines...
Trump and Putin: Two liars separated at birth?

Good grief, let’s continue to quote politico
This just reinforces what I've been saying: if Cruz's supporters realize that he isn't going to get the 1237 delegates he needs, and that there is no way in Hell the RNC will allow him to be the nominee in a brokered convention, surely Cruz realizes this too. That brings up the question of why he's serving as the RNC's loyal attack dog. Either they offered him something in return (perhaps a promise not to back an establishment candidate in the Senate primary in TX), or he's just doing this out of spite.
Actually read the article...LOL
“Thus, as in Russia, Trumps lying is enabling and feeding an indifference to the truth. In a March 28 speech, President Obama cited the work of Politico reporters who fact-checked 4.6 hours of Trump speeches and news conferences and identified more than 51 lies, or as David Brooks of The New York Times put it, one every five minutes. This past week alone, Trump made false and irresponsible statements about the Geneva Conventions, nuclear proliferation, and NATO and our Asian allies contribution to security. More recently he offered up a view of the U.S. economy that forecast a coming very massive recession, which Washington Post writer Jim Tankersley called a mix of economic conspiracy theories with magical-thinking accounting.”

If Trump and Cruz don’t unite soon (”build on our unique strengths”, “we had some media-stoked misunderstandings”) and maybe even make a VP deal, Hilary will win. Don’t rely on an indictment.
Couple of weeks, Cruz will be mathematically eliminated just like Kasich. Then what? Blow up the Gop? Good. See if I give a ——.
With the kind of chicanery and corruption in the depths of the GOPestablishment, if the establishment does nominate Ryan, look for a similar backlash like Romney got in 2012.
Likely most of the Trump supporters will tell the GOPestablishment where they can stick Ryan, as the Dem candidate gets a win in November.
If nothing else, Trump has revealed how corrupt and vile the GOPestablishment/Republican party leadership is.
If it doesn’t go to Trump it will go GOPe.
Amazing that the Cruzers are so thick they don’t get that.
Just like he did for speaker and for... Its his Trick no no no until he flips.
The source of key information in this article is unnamed. If pointing that out offends you, then too bad for you. I don't do unnamed sources as do most normal people. If there are other named sources elsewhere, the article didn't didn't cite them.
This just reinforces what I’ve been saying: if Cruz’s supporters realize that he isn’t going to get the 1237 delegates he needs, and that there is no way in Hell the RNC will allow him to be the nominee in a brokered convention, surely Cruz realizes this too.

Of course, he knows the establishment doesn’t want him. Why do you think he has been lining up delegates like crazy for the second ballot? Sure, they have some power over some delegates in certain states. However, most delegates are just people that tend to be a lot more conservative than the republicans in Washington.
Cruz will win on the second ballot, and there is nothing the RNC can do about it.
What an illogical inquiry.
Like I said its a damage control fail where there are other sources for it. So stop playing attack the messenger on just this one article, its not working.
