Roger Stone encouraged Trump supporters to rally at the RNC convention in July to prevent the party from stealing the nomination from Trump.
The big steal is on, Stone averred.
Stone, the onetime campaign manager for Donald Trump, continued:
Go to Cleveland. Come to Cleveland. Dont let the big steal go forward without massive protest. Peaceful, nonviolent protest. So, as they used to say, dont wait for orders from headquarters. Ride to the sound of the guns. I dont mean to imply violence on that. I mean: Ride to where the action will be. We have to let the Republican bosses and the kingmakers and the insiders and the lobbyists know that were not going to stand for the big steal. So if you are a Trump supporter, make plans now. Take a bus! Hitchhike! Carpool! Take a train! Fly, if you can afford it. We need you in Cleveland.
“Trumps army of Walmart shoppers isnt large enough to overcome his awfulness as a candidate. But thanks for playing.”
Neither were Romney’s or McCain’s....but thanks for playing.
Even if you can’t be there in person, you can still put the elite panjandrums on notice that if they steal the nomination YOU WILL NOT VOTE IN NOVEMBER. That’s the one message that will scare them enough to get their attention.
The problem with this notion is that the long-established "recognized rules" preclude the party establishment from the sort of manipulation and favoritism they have injected into the current process. They don't get to break the rules to tilt the playing field against a candidate they dislike and then sanctimoniously insist that that candidate must cleave to every jot and tittle.
Actually, no, it turns out. There was some snafu with Bernie Sanders getting on the DC Democratic primary ballot; Hillary's campaign is in full agreement that it's a glitch to be straightened out and not an opportunity to screw over the opposition.
Cruz ought to be embarrassed, showing himself to have less integrity and honor than Hillary.
I’d guess Roger Stone is on someone’s payroll as an agent provocateur. No better way to discredit Trump than for his followers to engage in threats and actual violence. No one should dance to Stone’s tune.
Corrected.
Oh, so you are a paid political operative troll. You’re even admitting it.
I certainly won’t waste my precious human life reading your droppings anymore.
I found that after I clicked the link! Everyone should know when he said this, as Trump’s meeting yesterday might have changed something.
Cruz is more desperate than any gambler in Reno.
He’s gambling on convention rules not yet written and trying to infiltrate Trump delegates with trojan horses.
That’s not the way to unify. It’s not leadership. And it exposes a ‘deal breaker’ character flaw IMHO.
So Trump supporters might need to double down on him for the good of the country.
Cruz is more desperate than any gambler in Reno.
Who gambles in a game where the rules aren’t yet written? No convention rules yet, but he’s trying to infiltrate Trump delegates with trojan horses.
His primary goal appears to be ‘anyone but Trump’. And I mean anyone. It exposes a ‘deal breaker’ character flaw IMHO.
‘Trump’s meeting yesterday might have changed something.’
I suspect you are right.
Stone is sounding the alarm big-time:
‘Go to Cleveland. We need you in Cleveland.’
Yes you are correct.
Noticed that the other guy didn’t answer my challenge question. Just ignored it.
God bless you, Strac6. You are a patriot.
Of course, if you support Cruz your patriotism is being exploited, but I commend you for your hard work for the USA!

Most ‘political’ legal work was when Dem-Libs would try to use the courts to achieve something that they had failed to do legislatively. Other work involved Conservative parties being sued by individual libs.

But please understand there will be a time of suspicion:
You’ve been here ... ‘Since Mar 6, 2016’.
It’s common for hired help to ‘spin’ this forum.
LJ is just being wary. But we need all the legal eagles we can get so long as they aren’t too agenda-driven against patriotism and freedom.

The rumor about Ted Cruz’s affair began on June 9, 2015 in his own office.
The first comment written June 9, 2015 mentions several possible reasons for Carpenter’s departure, including this one on June 9, 2015: “
#5. Affair with Better-Dead-Than-Ted and Missus-Better-Dead-Than-Ted found out.”
Note that this comment precedes Donald Trump announcing his candidacy to run for the presidency.
Carpenter departed her lucrative position at $115K (2.3 times the norm) with all the benefits and perks of working for a US Senator. She became a consultant for hire to the media. This entailed providing piecemeal work, when work is available. The comment left at The Hills article above on the day she departed is rather telling. Her departure may have raised a few eyebrows in Washington DC circles. Obviously, these rumors, whether substantiated or not, have been circulating DC long before before Donald Trump became Cruz’s main rival. It is outrageous for the Cruz campaign to be blame anyone other than his own staff or their circle of people in DC. Placing the blame on Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, or any other candidate has been an opportunistic classless way for Senator Cruz to deal with his own problem.
After this time in June, the rumors surrounding the Senator’s mistress(es) continued to find its way out repeatedly in 2015. A sex-scandal between a journalist and a POTUS candidate and another between a lobbyist and POTUS candidate were originally detailed online in both August and December 2015. A celebrity gossip forum lays out all the many clues and its followers predict the cheater. On December 14, 2015 the forum winner had predicted the cheater to be The Honorable Senator Cruz. While these allegations do not prove innocence or guilt, they do prove one thing- Cruz’s scandal has been circulating and increasing momentum for nearly a year.
From a strategical standpoint, Cruz has handled his allegations quite well for his campaign by blaming Trump. Once the negative chatter increased to the general political forum (mid March), TeamCruz swung into defense. First, they dropped a bomb or ~bombshell~Melania’s photo, out in front of the scandal and created a huge splash to divert attention. With a “nod” and “wink” to an allied PAC, they created the shock and awe Cruz would desperately need. In addition, this trick angered Trump and earned Cruz bonus Utah votes. After Trump’s ambiguous and mundane retort about “spilling the beans on Heidi,” Cruz, twisted and dramatized ‘the beans’ warning. He reacted as if he was fending off a full frontal assault on each of Cruz’s little women. Again, with the help of the media, Ted’s feigned indignation was fairly effective, particularly among women.
With the release of the story of Cruz’s alleged mistresses in the Enquirer, Cruz asserts that it is his opponent’s fault. Cruz states the reason the National Enquirer published the scandal was to please Donald Trump. Rather than a clear unequivocal denial of those accusations about his actions, Cruz parses his words and again props up his wife Heidi and then Carly as an emotional defense against Trump. While, Cruz’s accusation is patently false, it is still effective. Outside Washington and the political gossip circles, people have no clue as to where the scandal originated or if it’s factual. Cruz has sold people another pack of his lies. The idea that Trump can create a scandal story where none once existed and then force its publication. This is absurd and inconsistent with Trump’s style. Cruz insinuates that the scandal about himself is actually what Trump was referring to when he mentioned “spilling the beans on Heidi.” Yet, Heidi is not the alleged adulterer dragged through the dirt of the National Enquirer. Ted Cruz has known for nearly a year that his entanglement scandal would arise, sooner or later. He needs to face his accusers as a man and not hide behind his women’s skirts.

*If* I’m wrong I take it all back. Arthur probably knows more than me. I’m just a lowly peasant and know nothing of the inner machinery of politics, other than it’s a dirty filthy business, and much worse than most of us even thought.
“Cruz ought to be embarrassed, showing himself to have less integrity and honor than Hillary.”
Saying things like this makes you look really bad.
Kasich is in this as a spoiler. He has been a spoiler for a long time, even before Ohio, but especially after. Sanders is not a spoiler. It actually looks better for Hillary to NOT run uncontested. Gives the illusion of being the people’s choice.
But, even if Cruz was wrong to the extreme for challenging Kasich, Hillary has a lifetime track record as someone who lied in Watergate, helped domestic terrorists, has a long string of victims whom she silenced or may have even had killed, was part of the Bengazi failure and coverup which was probably to hide the illegal gunrunning she and Obama were doing, and is currently being investigated for what was clearly a national security breach along with lies and a coverup of that as well.
But in your mind, Cruz has less integrity and honesty than Clinton because he is insisting on following rules because they favor his chances of winning. Talk about straining at gnats. That’s just nuts.
Don`t forget your visit to East Cleveland.
I didn’t get that
But I’d like to clarify cause when I read my post it seemed you could think I called you jackass
I’m sorry
I meant Cruz is Preacher Jackass
Not he’s a preacher and you’re a jackass
I have nothing personal against you
