Roger Stone encouraged Trump supporters to rally at the RNC convention in July to prevent the party from stealing the nomination from Trump.
The big steal is on, Stone averred.
Stone, the onetime campaign manager for Donald Trump, continued:
Go to Cleveland. Come to Cleveland. Dont let the big steal go forward without massive protest. Peaceful, nonviolent protest. So, as they used to say, dont wait for orders from headquarters. Ride to the sound of the guns. I dont mean to imply violence on that. I mean: Ride to where the action will be. We have to let the Republican bosses and the kingmakers and the insiders and the lobbyists know that were not going to stand for the big steal. So if you are a Trump supporter, make plans now. Take a bus! Hitchhike! Carpool! Take a train! Fly, if you can afford it. We need you in Cleveland.
“...I like how this guy talks, kinda poetic, aint it?...”
It’s war. And he gets it.
Rumor!!!!! That;s all it is!!! Rumor!!! No Truth to story.... that is why no I repeat no major News outlet is covering this!!!
I meant when or if you visit Cleveland, wear your pro-Trump gear and go visit East Cleveland for a nice long stroll. The locals will love it!
I take it East Cleveland like my hometown of Jackson Mississippi today ain’t exactly Shaker Heights and usual contributing factor
I travel up through the industrial Midwest a lot
It’s a strange juxtaposition
Saginaw and Flint and Gary and Fort Wayne and Toledo.....Dayton...Indy
And that butt ugly huge mosque by the interstate in Toledo
No, I am not admitting anything of the sort.
Over the years, before retirement, I represented a number of Conservative clients and causes in my practice.
If you headed a Conservative cause, and were being legally screwed over by Dems, would you not want good representation?
Everyone hates lawyers, until they need one.
Period
I am not a Cruz supporter n this primary.
But I will support him, or Trump, or Kasich, or Harvey Wallbanger if they are the R candidate in the General... which is all that really counts.
P.S.... I am long retired from DC.
Now in Florida.
I now fish 3 days a week, golf 4, pray 7, and chase Mrs. Scrac 7 :)
Actually, the political legal work was usually pro bono. Conservative candidates and causes who needed us, couldn’t afford us.
It was the dot com corp retainers that paid well.
That explains why I couldn’t understand you, I am not familiar with lawyers. I am seriously just a peasant.
‘Arthur probably knows more than me.’
Not in this case. We need conservative lawyers, but ...
You are right to be wary, as I posted before.
I was just offering an olive branch on the off-chance that a newcomer might actually prove to be a helpful patriot after this primary fight.
’ ... if they are the R candidate in the General... ‘
People will be done with the GOP-e if they choose someone like Ryan.
Federalist-Finito. No more party.
Hannity will probably be the key spokesman to suggest a new party to replace them. He will certainly get together with Trump and Cruz and talk it over.
‘...and chase Mrs. Scrac 7 :)’
Good for you. Never let her feel safe from your masculine schemes.
So are we all.
My last big legal/political involvement was Bush v. Gore. We probably had 600 lawyers involved in that matter.
The Republicans have been able to screw it all up without my help since :)
But at 72 with a pacemaker......
:)
Ryan is a non-starter, nor Bush, nor Christie, Carson etc.
96% it’s Trump or Cruz.
Kasich and Walker; 2% each.
On the Dem side, less than 50% HRC.
Biden and Warren, 50%+.... and Indian Princess Moving Mouth Warren makes Bernie look like Goldwater by comparison.
Just my guesses.
Have a good week.
