Jim;
Things have gotten way out of control here as of late. You know as well as most of us, that this war must end and end now, or your forum will end up being nothing more than a joke.
I humbly suggest that you not just request, but demand, that everyone step back and take a serious look at the slanderous comments being made by both camps. Debate is one thing, but what is happening is no longer a debate. This forum is on the verge of a civil war. A war that need not happen. For the good of this great forum, I and many I have talked to on both sides of the war admit things have gone too far.
I am a Ted Cruz supporter, yet I call on all my fellow Cruz supporters to put the knives back in the sheaths, as I ask the same of all you Trump supporters.
This civil war of Freeper against Freeper must end, or the result will inevitably be a complete destruction of this once great forum.
I begin by laying down my weapons as a gesture of good will. From hence forth I will not post any comments that are just knee jerk angry remarks that only serve to fuel the fires of hate and animosity.
We all have a common enemy in this fight, the eventual Democrat Presidential Nominee. I suggest we all remember this, because a house divided upon itself cannot stand, nor defeat the enemy.
I also offer this promise to everyone. Should Trump win the nomination, I promise to fight as hard, and as passionate, for him to become POTUS as I will for Cruz.
Nice, BT. You little lurker you. Where have you been???
You went to sleep one night and I haven’t seen you since.
%:D/
If I think that of Cruz, how could I not vote for him if he wins over Trump?
Under GOP rules, delegates are bound for as long as their state rules say they are bound. For all states, that is at least the first ballot. Cruz cannot win on the first ballot (without a very sleazy rules change) unless he gets 88 percent of the remaining delegates. I don't see that as realistic. I've also known enough delegates in previous years to be concerned whether they are loyal to their pledged candidate or to the party leadership - very concerned. I hope I'm wrong.
LOL!!
We ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
The best thing about the campaign to date is that we have two proven fighters to lead us after the Convention. I’d be happy to vote for either one come November.
A refreshing change would be if they did a 1-2 against the two socialists masquerading as Democrats!
“Because Trumps unfavorabitlty are the highest of any Presidential candidate since it has been tracked, especially among women.”
1. The polls are fraudulent.
2. Half of those women are demonrats, and wouldn’t vote for any Republican.
Looked at through less biased eyes, Trump stands to win around 65% of the popular vote.
Advise you worry about your own posts first.
Succinct and to the point.
Thanks for all you do.
BS. TRUMP has more supporters than you and I together know.
There are voters for TRUMP who can not dare say so.
Cruz is having to steal ballots and votes to even hold air now. He’ll be lucky if he keeps what he has, because the GOPE intends to dump his @$$ too, ya’ know. Just wait and watch the convention.
Not bad, Laz, not bad at all. I need practice, ya’ know.
Now that is not entirely true. You and I have had very fair, civil and polite differences of opinions.
And then there are the operatives and disruptors who are being paid to foment discord.
Where can I get one of those jobs? I do all my posting completely free of compensation....
Screw the canadian cruz supporters. Only morons would support non-American ineligibles like obama and cruz. Why would anyone want another bushes in the white house? The globalist teddy bushes supporters should take some more teddy bears to the border and pass them around to the ms-13ers.
Cruz’s entire strategy at this point is to try and get the nomination through a technicality over the will of the voters.
No freakin truce.
so cruz has come third in 3 swing states, not won a single county ion two of those states VA, FL
he has millions of less votes.
behind in delegates.
Does not appeal to the outside of his base.
Tell me how in the world is he better to win?
You would agree it is the swing states and I am in FL and trust me he would lose FL and that means the general election.
I’ve been around. My daughter got married and pregnant in short order and then needed to move home. (Yes, a millenial.)
So, I semi-retired and have been remodeling my guest house to accommodate her. It had only a half bath and essentially no kitchen. Plus, it had significant water damage from a roof leak a couple years ago that wasn’t covered by insurance. We never use it. So, I let it sit after replacing the roof. It’s been a YUGE job. I haven’t even been to combat training in three months!!
More than you wanted to know, Darlin’? ;p
Just saying.
Cruz’s side started that dust-up.
It may not have been Cruz personally, but the side for Cruz started that.
Trump was merely responding. Again it wasn’t started by Cruz himself, but his side started it.
