FULTON, N.Y. -- A Fulton nurse convicted of taking a photo of an unconscious patient's penis with her iPhone last year surrendered her license, according to the New York State Education Department.
Kristen Johnson was forced to give up her license as part of a plea deal where she pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disseminating of unlawful surveillance photos.
Her conviction came after a nine-month investigation by the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office into complaints from her Upstate University Hospital co-workers that she sent pictures of two patients via text message.
She was originally charged with two counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance and one count of second-degree disseminating unlawful surveillance.
The felony charge against her was reduced as part of her plea, which also requires Johnson to spend three years on probation.
According to the state, Johnson surrendered her license and did not contest the charge of moral unfitness in the practice.
Now that's funny!
Good! This is 21st century Darwinism - social media helps to get at least some of the stupids and the moral degenerates and the just-plain-immature ones fired.
Thank you, both.
The hospital will carry this black eye for quite some time before people forget.
The immature little child that calls herself a nurse should be in jail.
Exactly - I’d think that would be 10-20 years in the slammer.
agreed
My apologies to any rocks who were offended by that comparison.
Wood worthy of a photograph.
Agreed. Preying upon someone who is in a completely vulnerable state is beyond unacceptable.
He kilt it didden he?
Only if she was punished with a hysterectomy.
I was examined by ultrasound once for a possible case of testicular cancer. Yes, those female technicians saw everything. Unfortunately, the event was entirely clinical.
A routine scan of her phone by the NSA tipped off authorities to her activities.
Johnson: [Noticing Dr. Evil’s spaceship on radar] Colonel, you better have a look at this radar.
Colonel: What is it, son?
Johnson: I don’t know, sir, but it looks like a giant—
Jet Pilot: Dick.
Dick: Yeah?
Jet Pilot: Take a look out of starboard.
Dick: Oh my God, it looks like a huge—
Bird-Watching Woman: Pecker.
Bird-Watching Man: [raising binoculars] Ooh, Where?
Bird-Watching Woman: Wait, that’s not a woodpecker, it looks like someone’s—
Army Sergeant: Privates! We have reports of an unidentified flying object. It has a long, smooth shaft, complete with—
Baseball Umpire: Two balls.
[looking up from game]
Baseball Umpire: What is that. It looks just like an enormous—
Chinese Teacher: Wang, pay attention!
Wang: I was distracted by that giant flying—
Musician: Willie.
Willie Nelson: Yeah?
Musician: What’s that?
Willie Nelson: [squints] Well, that looks like a giant—
Colonel: Johnson?!
Johnson: Yes, sir?
Colonel: Get on the horn to British Intelligence and let them know about this.
Hilarious!
You brought women into it as a comparison. I am addressing that aspect of it. Remember that men and women are different.
Guys don’t really worry if a cute nurse gropes them while they are asleep. (Most guys would actually volunteer to be truthful)
Was what she did wrong? Absolutely.
Would the guy be upset? Probably not (if he wasn’t tiny)
Men and woman are different after all.
Most definitely. Faggotry is wrong. It is a crime against nature.
Women are supposed to be attracted to men, and vice versa, so there's nothing unnatural about a woman scoping out a guy.
My husband wouldn’t tolerate any woman that wasn’t ME touching his private parts.
Period.
And I would be hard pressed to find any men I am acquainted with who would like to be taken advantage of in that manner.
I guess I just am not familiar with a man who wants a stranger to touch their penises while they are unconscious to take a picture that others will mock and laugh at.
I guess you are trying to say is that you wouldn’t mind and want to show yours off.
I am saying that it’s no big deal.
It’s different of course for a woman, which may be why it seems like such a big deal to you. (Men and women are different after all)
I also don’t see it as being taken advantage of.
I don’t particularly care to show myself off, but if she was cute I don’t see why it would bother me. (Of course I’ve been single for 10 1/2 years now).
Which gets us back to the point I was responding to in the first place. It would be different if it were a guy doing this to a woman. And you can’t use the outrage that situation would provoke to complain about this situation. Men and women are different.
