Ted Cruz’s campaign on Monday abruptly canceled two New York appearances by his wife so she could rush to Wisconsin to stump with him ahead of that state’s April 5 primary approaches.
The Texas senator was ready to put aside his dislike of “New York values” and stick it to Donald Trump in his own backyard, bringing the GOP battle to the billionaire’s base.
Heidi Cruz, just days after Trump mocked her mental state and appearance, was slated to meet voters at Connect Church in Bellmore, LI, Tuesday and then hit the Brighton Beach Jewish Center, the senator’s site said Monday.
But hours later, Cruz’s reps notified the church that Heidi Cruz was going to reschedule.

I have a question. If a spouse of a candidate actively stumps/campaigns, requests donations and considers herself/himself am intrigal part of the campaign in public conversation, shouldn’t he/she be considered fair game?

Cruz had a rally this morning. At least I think he did. I’ve been trying to find out news about it, like how many people showed up, was Heidi there, etc. but so far it’s like there’s a news blackout. No info at all.
A campaign like that must be tough on kids, especially when they are being used as props.
The older daughter looks like she would rather be in Hoboken.

They’re keeping the camera tight on Cruz so I can’t get an idea of crowd size. Also, no sign of Heidi. If she’s standing by her man, she’s not standing very close to him.
