How to Spot a Liar: The Case Against Amanda Carpenter
Danger and Play ^ | 3/27/2016 | MIKE CERNOVICH

Posted on 03/27/2016 8:26:38 PM PDT by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

Ted Cruz has been accused of having at least five mistresses, including CNN anchor and former Cruz employee Amanda Carpenter. The media claims Cruz has denied these accusations.

Cruz is lying, according to multiple trial lawyers and experts on persuasion. His lies are hard to spot, because his lies are also truthful.

Consider what Cruz said in response to the news story:

“Let me be clear this National Enquirer story is garbage. It is complete and utter lies. It is a tabloid smear and it is a smear that has come from Donald Trump and his henchmen.”

Let’s look at what Cruz did not say. Cruz could have said, “I have never cheated on my wife.” Why didn’t he?

Consider the oath witnesses take before testifying. “I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.” Isn’t that redundant?

Ted Cruz is accused of having had an affair with five women. He could say, “That’s a lie. I did not have five mistresses.” If Cruz did have one mistress, then he’d have told the truth (he didn’t have five) but not the whole truth (he had one).

Remember the old joke that goes “its only 99% of lawyers that give the rest a bad name?”

Thank you very much for your kind words!

Trump was brought up Presbyterian and has ALWAYS followed the tenets as laid down by Norman Vincent Peal. I'm old enough to remember when NVP was on T.V., so am familiar with what he preached, even though I am High church Methodist.

What goal posts are "laid down" here, by posters, have been by those espousing some sort of Evangelicalism. They don't mesh with Presbyterian, Anglican, Methodist, nor Epsicopalian beliefs! Many of the things used to condemn Trump with, here, in a religious sense, are guesses and/or outright lies! Which is why I post FACTS to counter them.

Unlike Europe, at the time of this nation's birth, American has NEVER had a state religion ( which is the ONLY thing that the term SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE means/refers to ! ), nor has our president been the HEAD OF A STATE RELIGION! We vote for the person we want as out nation's leader; NOT a Pope, Priest, Pastor, Bishop, Rabbi, whatever.

“The happiest 2 people in the world are Bill and Monica. The baton is now with Ted and Amanda.”

It's epic, like the way the torch was passed from Carter to Obama for being the worst prexy evah.

According to her bio on Townhall.com, Carpenter attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana

Dave Letterman's alma mater. Must be something in the water out there.

Cruz can’t think for himself! he is great-okay at memorizing set speeches and that’s it. And sadly, he imagines that quoting movies makes him sound “clever”, or something. LOL

I read some of the tweets, don’t know anything about photoshopping, but find it really WEIRD that Carpenter calls Ted :”DADDY CRUZ”.

“Exactly. I noticed this this morning when Cruz was throwing his hissy fit on Fox Sunday.

He never once denied the actual allegations.”

And if you go back to when he supported LEGALIZATION, more visas, more legal 3rd world immigration, he used the same obfuscating tactics when being asked about his flip flops. Once on Levin’s show it was SO obvious that I was rolling on the floor laughing that Levin REFUSED to see it.

Trump is a lefty, always supports and help elect lefties,

I need some clarification here. What, in your opinion, was Trump doing when he gave money to the campaigns of Romney, McCain and Ted Cruz?

...the flow of cash from Trump to Democrats has fallen off; the last time he gave to a Democrat running for federal office was in 2010.

I don’t know if he “founded” it, but he is a part of it.

Robert Mercer is a billionaire who has contributed to a lot of Republican and/or conservative causes over the years, including Heritage Foundation. His daughter Rebekah is also a board member or trustee at a number of GOP or conservative groups, including Heritage Foundation.

I have not had time to research what is at issue here, Robert Mercer's ostensible ties to Soros; but I'm starting out by posting what is available on the surface about his ownership of Breitbart, which is openly in the tank for Trump, in spite of his having donated $11 million to a PAC for Cruz 2016. I have yet to make head or tails of this apparent contradiction.

I was struck by your use of the word "always" to characterize Trump having given money to Democrats, when it has so very often been publicized that he has given money as a private businessman in a very blue city and state to candidates from both parties. This 3/25/16 post from Scott Adams, who explains how people use words to persuade (or fail to persuade), possibly explains such use of the word "always" in your prior post:

Breitbart was posting plenty “Trump is Eeeevil” articles, especially by Shapiro, a few months ago. In fact it was so unpleasant I quit reading them, and I used to daily. Now that Shapiro and Fields are gone, it may be different. But other writers besides Shapiro hated Trump. I think they allowed some Trump positive stuff because they couldn’t be 100% obvious about it. So they have been all over the map.

Your Trump spin rings hollow. It only shows he has no core principles and is for sale to the highest bidder and to hell with 6he countty.

He didn’t just donate, he actively supported Reid, Pelosi, Schumer, and Hillary. Two of whom who had nothing to do with NY politics.

Try ur Trump spin on someone else. I ain’t buying.

Why does she not stand by her husband?

Quite possibly an EARLY tell-tale sign that all is NOT well with Mrs. Cruz.
