Breitbart published an article called Robert Jeffress Rebukes Glenn Beck for Criticism of Southern Evangelicals, which quoted Baylor professor Dr. Thomas S. Kidd as saying, There are many reasons why devout Christians should hesitate to vote for Donald Trump, but God has not revealed Ted Cruz as the divinely anointed alternative, either. Beck took this to heart and spent quite a while clapping back at them on his show today.
Becks devotion to Cruz certainly is religious. He has fasted for the man. He has foretold violence if Cruz is not elected. He even theorized that God killed Justice Antonin Scalia in an effort to guide Cruz to the presidency. All of this was done while using the thinly-veiled rhetoric of end times prophecies.

Since Beck is a Mormon, I have to question which “God” Beck is talking about.
Cruz should distance himself from Beck, but he won’t—because Cruz is so mentally ill, he believes everything Beck is saying.
strait
Beck is a Catholic in a second marriage. Since he was a drunk, he could almost certainly get a declaration of nullify of his first marriage, but he chose instead to become a Mormon.
Exactly right ...Beck , Levin ,and Cruz they are all mega weird ...
You raging anti-Semite!
Very odd movie. Great but odd and scary.
LOL !.. and don’t forget , anti-Reagan, and anti- Constitution according to Beck and Levin ...Trump now more than ever ...
I do believe in special services like anointing, but I do not believe in it the way Glen Beck does, using it as a mere enhancement to a political campaign.
My take on it would be something you do behind closed doors to especially dedicate yourself to Godly ideals, and to be the best person you could be for the good of the nation.
It wouldn’t be something I would do publicly.
This is what bothers me. It’s like using religion for your own advancement.
You do what is right, and the Lord will bless you.
You don’t express a pious nature and then expect the public to go wow, and all of a sudden glom on to you.
Maybe I’m reading this wrong, but Beck is troubling.
This is why he wont ..the GOPe is rigging the election in certain states and it gives Cruz/Beck the impression that their message is resonating ...they are delusional and we will all pay the price because of this chicanery
Cruz and Levin didn’t used to be weird, or at least pretended not to be, but they sure are now.
Why would he disavow someone he paid $10,000 to for an entertainment fee? Hmmmm?
I don’t catch Beck’s show anymore , but I do catch Levin’s ..he has a daily meltdown and smear-fest against Trump that is full of lies and innuendo ...he wraps it all up neatly with Reagan and the Constitution to justify it ...very sick and very deceitful ...and to think , we once trusted him as one of the good guys ...no longer
With what, axle grease? (So he could be a big wheel?)
You got a point... most of America wouldn’t be at that spiritual level anyhow. It would be casting pearls before, well, you know.
So what’s next for Beck? Is Beck going to claim that if Cruz loses, then Cruz, Beck and all of Beck’s listeners will leave the Earth on some large meteor that whizzes by at just the right time?
That $10K was paid to Beck on 10/20. There was another payment of $16K paid on 10/24.
I believe that he has been mentally disjointed by God.
I agree with that. I’m not liking what I am seeing in church attendance numbers if the ones I’m seeing are accurate.
Stabby the Clown at 89!
“This is the reason I enjoy Coast to Coast. I support those with mental health problems because many of them are such good storytellers.”
Coast to Coast never disappoints! Good fun woo-woo world to keep you awake on those long drives!
