'We stand by the integrity of our coverage and remain committed to our aggressive reporting'
Donald Trump insisted Friday he had nothing to do with the recent National Enquirer story in which Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is accused of cheating on his wife multiple times.
Still, Trump took the moment to point out the tabloid publication has been right in the past with similar stories.
I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this weeks issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it, Trump said in a statement. Ted Cruzs problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin Ted Cruz.
The National Enquirers parent company, AMI, also released a statement

You’re certifiable.
No one can because it isn’t true-—just wishful thinking. Jim Holt over at Gateway had an article about that today...I will go back and find the link.
Weve begun taking a much more skeptical look at Senator Ted Cruzs financial intents and the people who hold influence upon him .
The Robert Mercer angle alone is showing some VERY ALARMING probabilities.
.The fact that Mercer owes the IRS between $6 and $10 billion, and is in a legal dispute over payment, in connection with Mercer setting up the Keep the Promise (KtP) Super-PAC before turning it over to David Barton (Glenn Beck affiliate), . and then Mercer giving Carly Fiorina the start up money from KtP to begin Carly for America, and then Mercer purchasing the Data Analytics for Ted Cruz, .. and then Mercer buying influential interest in the Breitbart website to the benefit of Cruz .. All gives the brutally obvious motive of a quid-pro-quo.
Robert Mercer spends $100 million to get Ted Cruz the White House; Ted Cruz then turns around and leverages a better IRS result for Robert Mercer.
One of Cruzs primary campaign points is the elimination of the IRS and the imposition of a flat tax. If successful, that would save Mercer $6 to $10 billion.
Let me help you. Conde Nast is the media company that publishes G.Q. They contract out the reuse/permissioning to Wright’s Media. They are the ones who would have the information you are seeking, but will not find, because Cruz’s campaign never, ever requested (or received) the rights to use any of those pictures.
You people won’t even admit to the documented facts of your own candidate, don’t you presume to lecture me on mine.
“I think Cruz is smart enough not to run for president if he had those kind of skeletons in his closet.”
Depends on the thirst for power really.
If Trump didn’t get in this race, Ted would have run away with it. He had to have known that going into this. He raised a ton of cash before Trump went all in. I guess he figured that with all of the money he raised, he could spend enough to shut people up. He also didn’t take Trump seriously at first (I sure as hell didn’t).
Having said that, I doubt he did what the NE is claiming.
I’m just speculating. Up until this election, I liked the guy. Not anymore. I didn’t put my heart and soul into supporting him as I learned my lessons doing that kind of stuff with Bush 43.
Ted really torqued me off with his megalomaniac and gutter behavior this campaign. I thought he’d act more of a balance to Trump’s populist/tough-guy approach. I didn’t expect Ted to bring out the filth he’s lured (that Liz bitch is frigging disgusting ... who pays people like that?).
You have to be a bit of an egomaniac to want to be President, but Ted has all the signs of being a full blown one and doesn’t realize it! Trump at least recognizes it (i.e. if you know you’re crazy, chances are you aren’t insane :-) ).
I almost threw up when Cruz teamed up with Glen Beck. Glen Beck is a complete farce. He is a sickening attention whore. I have disliked the fraud since 2009ish and couldn’t believe how many people bought into his garbage. Between the fake tears and the Hitler nonsense, I almost blew a fuse. That man is forever labeled garbage in my home. I’d snort fragments of broken glass before I’d ever voluntarily listen to Glen Beck again. I really hope a lot of people on FR see through that disgusting act even if they support Cruz. Beck isn’t fit to scrub toilets in a gay bathouse. He’s a toilet bug.
As for Trump, I’ll be voting for him in the primary now I guess. The *big* thing that concerns me about him is delegation of duties. CEOs certainly have to do that to succeed, but Trump strikes me too much of a “my way or highway” kind of person. That is NOT good. While I doubt Trump would behave that way with our military, I can’t see them working with like minded people regarding everything else we are facing.
As for the rumored Cruz affairs ... I wouldn’t get your hopes up if you’re against Cruz and want to see him implode over a scandal like this. Nothing shocks me anymore, but I’d be really surprised if more than one of these rumored women he had on the side is true. Everyone is capable of screwing up once ... he doesn’t strike me as a person that would make a habit of doing that though.
Uh, that’s not how I remember it at all. It’s interesting what Cruzies tell themselves to make it all okay...

A link showing that Rodger Stone was not behind the story....
What a pathetic mind.
(Damn. The secret is out.)
Let me be crystal clear, the allegations that I had relations with Mrs. McDonald, Old McDonald and the rest of the farm with an E I E I O are garbage.
LOL.
It has been fun to watch.
Jim is trying to get to the bottom of who owns the rights to Melania’s photo.
I have to keep reading. It seems the entire thing is going to explode into the open now.
Not sure if it is brother or wife of one of the women (stories differ) who is willing to confirm the affair was known to the family.
I am beginning to understand why Sarah endorsed Trump after all her work to get Cruz elected in Texas. I was still pondering that!
I already wrote CondeNast as well as GQ. Let’s see if they answer. If Liz Maier just grabbed it off the internet then she is in a little bit of copyright trouble isn’t she?
“The NE is not backing down. Why do you think that is?
If all this is untrue, I expect Ted to sue them ASAP!”
My memory could be wrong but I think that Carol Burnett was the only ‘celebrity’ to successfully sue the NE.
Hint: ‘Suing’ someone or a company/corporation takes years and years and big bucks.
Wrong! Wrights Media handles the requests.
You want to know what is coming up next Well that’s it. From comments THE THING that the RUBIO clan have been promoting since fall is equivant to Blue dress The last contact hooker had with him was January. Plenty of time for her from fall till then to collect evidence.
Be prepared ! Now not before or after convention so Bush can be nominated. Or is that your goal Are you a Bush it? Hoping they can take down both so Bush will be nominee. You have to take out Trump and CRUZ
This whether true or not will take out CRUZ
This moral turpitude is apparently not a negative for the MORMON, Glen Beck, given the history of the founder of that religion. Glen is still rah rahing along, sans his medications.
Evidently the photograper on that photo is going to sue someone for using that photo in a negative way. Supposedly there is some legal issue with it’s use.
He should unless he is worried what will come up in discovery ...
