NATIONAL ENQUIRER PARENT COMPANY REFUTES CRUZ
WND ^ | 3/26/2016

'We stand by the integrity of our coverage and remain committed to our aggressive reporting'

Donald Trump insisted Friday he had nothing to do with the recent National Enquirer story in which Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is accused of cheating on his wife multiple times.

Still, Trump took the moment to point out the tabloid publication has been right in the past with similar stories.

“I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week’s issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but I had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it,” Trump said in a statement. “Ted Cruz’s problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others, I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin’ Ted Cruz.”

The National Enquirer’s parent company, AMI, also released a statement…

Some of what they post is gossip. Some of it is true and they don’t have the proof to post the entire story, but there is a basis in reality. If the Enquirer would have published this one, the Clintoons would have hightailed it back to Arkansas.

CLINTON SEX ROMP CAUGHT ON VIDEO!

In 2003, the National Enquirer reported that Hillary Clinton’s political foes were desperately trying to acquire a secret videotape that supposedly showed her husband Bill “having sex in a pickup truck with a department store clerk.”

>>>All I can say is “there’s something women like about a pick-up man.”

FReeper Bigbob said “You left out Gary Hart and Donna Rice, OJ’s shoes, Jesse Jackson’s illegitimate daughter, and Rush Limbaugh’s Oxycontin escapades.”

>>> And I’d like to add Ennis Cosby’s murder weapon; Bristol Palin’s baby-daddy; OJ’s book release; Hugh Rodham/Clinton pardon scandal; and more Cheaters:Tiger Woods, Mel Gibson, Billy Joel, just to name a few. The NE has a very good track record of ferreting out the cheaters and infrequently pay out damages on those scoops.

But go on believing it’s all just gossip.

And the Enquirer was great for the community at Christmas time:
During the 70s and 80s, they set-up the largest decorated Christmas tree in the world at their HQ. The nightly tree lighting attracted thousands and the event became one of South Florida’s most celebrated and spectacular events. NE’s annual tradition was an extremely expensive “Christmas present” to the local community.

Are you ignoring the posts from the site’s owner showing you search page results on what you are asking?

I did all that two days ago...it all came back twitter. GQ twitter site has a mention of the pic on March 23 with no mention of Jeff Roe, Ben Shales or anyone securing the rights to the pic...just that it was used. ON twitter there is one Ben Shales listed with a dormant account for the past five years. Any other mention on twitter repeats the same info with no independent track back to a different source other than twitter and the same type tweet.

Hey genius, here’s the difference: Trump admitted to all that he has done, unlike Ted, who will deny, deny, deny and then try to blame Trump. Besides, Ted has put himself out there as the face of God and used his Christianity and family values as part of his platform. Get the difference? Probably not - sometimes there is no dealing with ignroance.

Well said :)

I believe JR furnished you with numerous links.

If it is a problem for you, just drop it instead of carrying on about it.

I am so sorry that all this is upsetting to you.

Trump and his supporters are not responsible.

Ted is responsible for the choices he made.

The GOPe betrayed their constituents. Ted betrayed you, his supporters.

I am sorry for that.

I believe Trump would be even more of a dictator than the current pResident. I hope he does not get the nomination.

So you are happy with Hillary or GOPe status quo (which will result in Hillary anyway). Smart thinking austingirl...

I will ask, and not rhetorically, what is your basis for your fear that Trump will be more of a dictator than Obama?

if by that you mean it’s drives me slowly crazy, it does :)

I liked the guy, a lot.

Can’t vote for him because of what he’s said and done.

Voting for Trump, but it’s like reading about an ex over and over :)

He’s a non issue because he’s not going to win.

PLENTY of threads on Trump and his ideas today.

WAY more pleasurable to read

If I read his post correctly he posted what his search was and as of yet was unable to find the original source for the information. He then tried a different search phrase and still no luck. Those were the same search phrases I used plus a few more. No more luck other than going back to twitter as the original source. Those tweets are not from news organizations or even blogs...just folks on the street spreading the same information.

Did you provide the actual tweet from GQ yet ...that verified the information...that mentioned Jeff Roe and Ben Shales? you wrote that you had it perhaps I missed your post on the matter.

When a cheater is confronted their first reaction is:
* Denial
*anger
*blame shift
Accuse the victim or anyone else to justify their actions.
Cheaters are some of the best actors. Cheating is a highly detestable act especially if your a self proclaimed religious fanatic so they have to see the act in a light that justifies it.
Cruz’s reaction is textbook. Look it up. Google it.
When a cheater is confronted they will always deny it. It’s like pulling teeth. You can have all the information but until it is shown they will not ever admit it. They will never come clean. They will always have an excuse.
Ted is guilty. Of course he is. No doubt.
Just the act of walking out of a hotel with a woman other than your own wife is cheating. Finding the room and video and circumstances is gravy.
Ted is a vindictive, deceitful, unfaithful lier.
He’s done. Trust your gut.
Everything on Ted will have to be extracted. The enquirer has him. Dead to rights. Now they will slowly release the proof. Death by a thousand cuts. The enquirer is once again going to add to their head collection with another success notched onto their belt. Another skin. Another piece of garbage affixed to their already impressive trophy case.
Another Charismatic narcissist that fooled a vast amount of sheeple.

Shaming the messenger is not going to bury the issue here or anywhere else.
The Enquirer has a very good track record of ferreting out the cheaters and infrequently pay out damages on those scoops.

The National Enquirer “stands by the integrity of their reporting”?

And you take that as God’s honest truth?

Good Lord.

Lyin, serial adulterer Ted tried to set Trump up. It won’t work though. God is not mocked. Lyin Ted will reap what he himself sowed. He laid down with all of those women as a married man and elected official. He was portrayed to be the “face of God” and the one with the highest morals and values of this election. Wow. How are those Calgary values working out for you Cruz? As Lyin Ted once said about Trump, I hope you asked God to forgive you for your multiple adulterous affairs, lying, cheating, and God knows what else. Lyin Ted needs prayer badly.
