I don’t now about you, but I’ve found the Republican race a bit of a disappointment until now. Sure, there was the enjoyment of mud-wrestling “debates,” the spectacle of Trump-derangement syndrome, but where was the sex scandal?
And when we get the sex scandal, it’s about Ted Cruz!
Still, beggars can’t be choosers. The scandal, such as it was, has been floating around for a least six months. That’s when a reporter (not from the Spectator) called to ask if I knew anyone who could confirm the story. (As if I’m supposed to know this stuff.) I told him I didn’t and that the people I knew wouldn’t want to touch it, even if they knew something about it.
Now the story has gone public, thanks to a muck-raking journal that as it happened also outed John Edwards. And everyone is wondering whether the story is true.
Except me. Because I don’t much care if it’s true. Given Heidi, I wouldn’t blame Ted. After all, she apparently refuses to live with him. And given Ted, I wouldn’t blame Heidi.
Novelists will sometimes mention some little incident that doesn’t really move the story line, but which nonetheless matters. The little incident that sticks in my mind is the story that she once ran out of the house and was found on the side of the highway by the police, who thought her suicidal. What sticks in my mind is that Ted hadn’t followed her.

This information about Cruz’s affairs has been rattling around out there in the blog and twitter sphere for 6 months now. A Breitbart reporter had this a few weeks ago and was forced to spike it because a couple of big money men behind Breitbart are big Cruz supporters. So the NE went with it and got the scoop.
None of this had anything to do with Trump. The backdoor media was onto this long ago, and the MSM chose to ignore it as their bigger enemy was/is Trump. Now your candidate Cruz is coming down, hard and fast. And you are, a SORE CRUZERMAN.

No; Cruz' base is a subset (Trump drew more Evangelical votes than Cruz, hence his sweep of the South, sans Texas); he has Pentecostals and Mormons.
Trump camp has known about Cruz’s philandering since they hired the spokesman who had worked for Cruz. At that time efforts by the Cruz camp to make her appear unstable and unreliable were being promoted by the Cruz camp. It was all on line including the alleged affair in which Cruz accused her of coming on to him. Her denial of having an affair does not rule out any inappropriate actions between them. Being hit on by your boss is not an affair !
That being said. She was on MSNBC as the news of the Cruz scandal was breaking.
Until someone produces some evidence, Cruz and his family are victims of slander.
This is not a simple sex scandal. IF TRUE, it shows that Cruz has not one atom of self control about his urges, and is a liar, and has serious mental problems.

Yeah, and Trump did nothing with the intel except make vague warnings: “Cruz is a nasty person. He’s a liar.”
Trump had info behind the scenes to back him up.
