Ted Cruz ‘Affair’ Rumors Peddled by Marco Rubio’s Allies

The truth behind the rumor-mongering, however, is a little more complex. A half-dozen GOP operatives and media figures tell The Daily Beast that Cruzs opponents have been pushing charges of adultery for at least six months nowand that allies of former GOP presidential hopeful Marco Rubio were involved in spreading the smears.
For months and months, anti-Cruz operatives have pitched a variety of #CruzSexScandal stories to a host of prominent national publications, according to Republican operatives and media figures. The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg News, Politico, and ABC Newsreporters at all those outlets heard some version of the Cruz-is-cheating story. None of them decided to run with rumors. Those publications representatives all declined to provide on-the-record comments when The Daily Beast reached out for this article.
Breitbart News, the notoriously Trump-friendly conservative outlet, was also pitched the story of Cruzs extramarital affairs, according to a source close to the publication. That source said an operative allied with Marco Rubiobut not associated with his official campaignshowed the publication a compilation video of Cruz and a woman other than his wife coming out of the Capitol Grille restaurant and a hotel on Tuesdays and Thursdays. But the outlet opted not to report on the video, which demonstrated no direct evidence of an affair.

Michelle Bachman found that out last time.

Unfortunately, men with power do attract some women. Its not unusual.
Guaranteed, if Trump was a plumber instead of a billionaire, the best he could do is a 300 lb wife named Rosie.

I understand that but with Cruz the power does not seem to come across in any attractive way. (especially when you see him swallowing a white thing on his lip at a debate, its more repulsive than attractive)
Yeah, those little slivers of wintergreen lifesavers are just nasty. You see what you want to see. And it's not the truth.

Trump and NE BOSS are best buddies
To: SteveSCH
How are any of the issues swirling around Cruz and Trump even remotely as serious as Hillary Clinton’s outright treason?
Why won’t they attack her?

I understand your post in relation to Ted but remember most evangelical Christians voted for Trump. It was the Mormons voted for Ted.

Trump’s pals including Pecker and Roger Stone are the ones who decided to go public when Cruz got within 3% nationally in the polls and fell behind in WI.
He has used this same SOP for years, whether Megyn Kelly, Rosie O’Donnell, Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson, Rubio, the list goes on.
First he went birther on Cruz now he has to go back to the gutter to distract from his polling numbers and his inability to debate issues 1 on 1. He probably realized after being embarrassed by the WaPo that he needed to so something so this is it.

Are they friends, yes. Is this a planted story, probably not. Has this been rumored in the background for months. Yes.
Is it true, I hope not. Is Cruz demagouge the issue as he does everything? Yes.

He also said Donald Trump may be a rat but I have no desire to copulate with him.” Really. I think Cruz may be losing it.
To: txhurl
I don’t know what Cruz did or did not do. I do know that he has made some very bizarre statements today.
To: PrairieLady2
Before the Florida Primary there were numerous stories from many sources on both Rubio and Cruz (I am not vouching credibility to the following):
A) Rubio allegedly visited a dominatrix. I glanced at the article and closed the screen.
B) An article published on an allegedly sexual liaison with Cruz.
So this story on Cruz from the Inquirer is old news.So Cruz is grandstanding on Trump. I think Rubio and Cruz were attacking each other in Florida.
