BREAKING: Washington Times Reporter Drops Bomb On Ted Cruz Mistress Allegations
groopspeak.com ^ | 3-25-2016

The April 4 edition of The National Enquirer makes damaging claims about Ted Cruz in a bold, above-the-fold headline. But don’t be so quick to write it off as another silly claim by a silly tabloid. A political columnist for The Washington Times just backed up the story that Cruz had multiple extramarital affairs.

cruz drew johnson

Yes, the very religious Republican presidential candidate had so many affairs and one-night stands that “it’s over for Pervy Ted,” the supermarket tabloid claims.

“Cruz’s 5 Secret Mistresses! Their Shocking Claims!”

“Conservative – Family Man – Evangelical – HYPOCRITE!”

cruz headline

Claiming unidentified investigators and “political operatives” as sources, the rag claims Cruz had five extramarital affairs, which include women who worked for his campaign and even a high-priced prostitute.

These are the five affairs National Enquirer claims to be an “explosive dirt file” on Cruz:

“’Randy Ted’ supposedly had a romp with her in a closet at a Republican state convention.”

“It’s alleged that Ted hooked up with her at the Republican Capitol Hill Club in a private room.”

“The two were caught ‘getting cozy’ on the campaign trail.”

“’A very sexy Austin schoolteacher’ who may have had a fling with Ted after he was appointed Texas Solicitor General.”

“Ted supposedly had it on with a prostitute.”

The Washington Times’ Drew Johnson says the Enquirer is at least partially correct. He tweeted on March 25 that he personally knows of two of those five affairs.

Even without Johnson’s defense of the story, remember that it was this same National Enquirer that had the scoop on John Edwards’ affair . And that same story crumbled the political campaign of the Democratic presidential wannabe in 2008.

That doesn’t mean that this “bombshell” about “Casanova Cruz” has guaranteed accuracy, of course. But if the tabloid batted one-thousand on Edwards, then a simple two-out-of-five .400 RBI would carry just as much impact.

Will these new rumors affect Cruz’s campaign? A secret source of National Enquirer sure thinks so:

“Cruz’s image as a Christian Family Man is utterly destroyed.”

The U.S. Senator from Texas currently has 465 delegates in the race to gain Republican Party nomination in the 2016 presidential race. Donald Trump has 739. A minimum of 1,237 delegates are needed to gain the nomination before the national convention, and 944 delegates are still open in upcoming primary elections.

let me focus on just one of these alleged affairs-persons, amanda carpenter.

first, what constitutes proof of an affair? simultaneous wearing and displaying of allegedly identical 8 day political tattoos?

second, it seems to me one must have some kind of proof. to me, i imagine, proof could be: a kid with an authenticated birth certificate, a court judgment of some relevant sort (eg divorce deposition), an authenticated photo or video, eyewitness statements, or firsthand statements of the concerned parties to other individuals or to the public. which of these pertain to the alleged affair with carpenter?

third, what business is it of any of the public’s what these folks do in private as long as it is between consenting adults? correct me if i am wrong but we do not even yet know if the cruzes had an open relationship. that would make this totally no-foul territory, yes? and even if not, i think someone famous once said, let he who has not sinned cast the first stone.

fourth, for hetero guys only, if carpenter somehow got into your hotel room and (somehow) crawled into bed with you, who among you would kick her out? seriously. i for one would have considerable difficulties.

not intended as a slight in any way to the esteemed ms. carpenter, who i believe to be, by the judicial powers vested in me as an internet nobody, “not guilty”.

:-( :-)

This fired Washington Times writer told people last month NOT to vote for Cruz in Texas. He said he was a Rubio supporter. Totally biased source!

Dear Texas- Don't vote for #Cruz. If he loses TX, he gets out & #Rubio has a head-to-head with #Trump. That's the only way Trump could lose.— Drew Johnson (@Drews_Views) February 26, 2016

`Rubbing sticks and stones together makes the sparks ignite and the thought of loving you is getting so ... ‘
A little afternoon delight for the reverend Ted?

Maybe he’s got a theme song for his campaign now:
`round round get around, I get around .... ?

No friend, this is very likely true. It isn’t about Trump, it is about Ted Cruz and his apparent infidelity.

If you heard Rush today he was downright rude and condescending to Trump supporters, in a way like I have never heard. That makes me believe there is some truth to this story.

I have now lost every talk show host that I liked to this election.

Your pic of cruz in #584 is perplexing. I wonder why he looks so mad? He should be in a good mood and wearing the happy face. He already has his plans to sneak out his bedroom window tonight to be with one of those nasties.

That's right. Cruz is not a guy who shows his humility.   Even when he was reading "Green Eggs and Ham" to his daughters, he seemed stiff and puppet-like.

He did apologized to Carson at the debate, but he was almost forced to do that.

The way he's tried to blow off any explanation for the Canadian thing and his failure to inform the FEC about his loans.  The way he attacks Trump about "inciting violence" in Chicago and elsewhere.  And several other unfounded attacks on Trump are out of line.

Cruz is no longer the strong, soft-spoken conservative. He's an angry attacker.

Even today, he mentioned something about "copulating with a rat".  What's that about?  Why would any candidate -- for any office -- say something dumb like that?  He seems consumed by hate.  He's become unhinged.

Why didn't he calmly announce that he was filing suit against National Enquirer today and leave it at that?
