The National Enquirer published a story this week claiming evidence of multiple sexual trysts by presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz. ........ Ted Cruz just blamed Donald Trump and his former consultant Roger Stone for the National Enquirer article accusing the Texas senator of extramarital trysts. Cruz blamed Donald Trump and his “henchmen” including former consultant Roger Stone for advancing the rumors.
Cruz told reporters in Wisconsin the story was “all lies.” Cruz then went on to blame the article on Donald Trump and his “henchmen.” Cruz argued Roger Stone has been forwarding the article today on the internet. He thinks Trump campaign is behind this story. Cruz also said the publisher of the National Enquirer is a friend of Donald Trump’s.

I guess those four only count because they went over the fence. National Enquirer has gone into bankruptcy more times than Trump. Ever wonder why? Maybe it had something to do with paying attorneys? You aren’t counting any ‘at bats’ where they didn’t get a hit, so your scorecard is hopelessly biased. It is a ‘guilt by association’ hit piece.
1) Katrina Pierson.
She angrily denied the story and called in 100% false in her public TWEET. She said — “There’s a reason they don’t use my name. They know it’s BS.”
2) Amanda Carpenter
Carpenter angrily denied having an affair with Ted Cruz on CNN
3) Sarah Isgur Flores — she was the campaign manager for Carly Fiorina.
She has not come out with a statement yet.
So, thus far, two have denied the allegations.
This report looks to be quite different because in previous charges -— John Edwards and Tiger Woods ( and hey, even Herman Cain ), the women have NOT denied the allegations.
Do we have anything better than these?

This story has legs. There is way too much smoke for there to be no fire.

Why not? One of them is a Trump supporter (his national spokesman, Katrina Pierson). I would expect her to help Trump get rid of the pesky Cruz who is nipping at his heels.

Just as Donald has his signature “YUGE”, I think Cruz overuses the word “utterly”. It’s almost in every other sentence. Just something I’ve noticed about him.
