I was there for all the pathetic "shelter in place", let the police search homes, cowardice that prevailed in the Boston area. A better response would have been to let armed citizens hunt the scumbags down and hand them from the nearest tree. Better that than that hackneyed "Boston Strong" nonsense adopted union slogan that was spewed for the next 2 years. The simplest thing would have been for the homeowner to go out in his back yard and have finished off that scum but it's difficult for an average person to get a gun license in Massachusetts.
And even given the above it still took years to sentence that jerk in a grandstanding joke of a trial. Not to mention that none of his co-conspirator grifting family got deported. Especially their non-repentant "Mommie Dearest".
It was a sad reflection on a free people.

Denis Prager talks about how Obama uses the “History is on our side” at home and abroad, like many liberals.
When you say “History is on our side” at home, liberals mean shut up, stand aside, you can’t stop us, we’ll win, just give up now.
When you say “history is on our side” abroad, it means “we can’t do anything to stop you, but we don’t have to, history will prove us right, even when we’re losing now”.
This speech reminds me of that Prager University video - Obama is saying in different words, oh, we’ll win eventually, as if history is a deity that sways men instead history being the result of people taking action.

He’s not stupid. He’s deliberately NOT defeating ISIS, while trying to sound like he has some kind of strategy to do so, buying them time to expand.
