Echoing a sentiment shared by millions of Republican primary voters across the country, conservative Fox News host Sean Hannity essentially placed the GOP establishment on notice during his Wednesday program.
The popular host was speaking about the not-so-secret plan that the party elites intend to try and use a "brokered" convention to more or less steal the nomination away from front-running candidate Donald Trump should he fail to garner the required number of delegates beforehand.
Hannity then proceeded to voice his extreme displeasure with the idea, even suggesting he would abandon the party if it came to that.
Hannity asked rhetorically, “Are they going to cut their nose to spite their face?”
"You know, if they are going to be that self destructive, and if they're going to pout, and if they're going to pick up their little toys, and they're going to go home like a bunch of babies, they will destroy, there will be no Republican Party at the end of this," Hannity proclaimed.
"Because if they're successful, guess what? Cruz and Trump supporters are walking out," he stated. "And, I'm walking out with them."
This is a threat that the GOP establishment should take seriously, as Hannity remains fairly influential among the more conservative base of the party.
I’ll just randomly point out that none of the guys on Mt. Rushmore won primaries, much less ones with the rules of a crude democracy.
Cruz is as much a part of this ‘get Trump’ & ‘screw the voters’ scam as anyone else!

I think he is uninformed, he doesn’t let his guests and answer, and he sounds irritating.
I don’t disagree with this statement. I just don’t think he should command THAT much attention.
He is not as bad as Beck. But, still....
Trump can’t have the nomination stolen from him unless he gets 1,237 delegates and. Less than 1,237 delegates and the nomination is not Trump’s to steal. A plurality does not guarantee nomination.
BTW: I thought Hannity wasn’t a Republican.
I was mainly speaking of modern times since 1900. The idea of a ‘primary’ is essentially a modern invention.......................the first one was in 1910. Before that, the Party Bosses chose the candidates in smokey back room deals...............................
I would have been able to vote Cruz, however him jumping in bed with the Bushes has changed my mind!! I sincerely hope Trump goes 3rd party and SCREWS their damn ticket all the way down!!! We will all SEE then just hoe Teddy Bear fares against Trump I can gaurantee you TEDDY BEAR will be stunned at just how unpopular he actually is!!!
Exactly. The GOPe (who run the House & Senate, can get all the pork for their cronies, and then blame the destruction on the Democrat POTUS. Half the pork, and none of the blame. Problem is, it isn’t working anymore : )

What happened today with the Bush endorsement has pushed me more away from Cruz.
the gop elites know that the rat elites are pushing Trump, knowing he will never ever be elected and the witch will come riding in on her broomstick with a palty 42% of the popular vote.

I feel the same way. Trump or let it burn. Way too much coordinated opposition from when he first came down the escalator. Something seriously wrong with Cruz fans, IMO.
