One of James Taranto's recurring categories in his WSJ Best of the Web Today column is "the soft bigotry of low expectations." We have a great candidate for it from today's Morning Joe, as, expressing the sentiment of Americans at large, Joe Scarborough asked: "why can't our president be as tough as France's president?" Ouch.
From Scarborough to Mika Brzezinski to Nicolle Wallace, Rudy Giuliani to Michael Hayden, the condemnation of President Obama's weak, shades-wearing, wave-doing, grinning response to the Brussels outrage was relentless. Most brutal and disturbing of all was the assessement of former CIA Director Michael Hayden, who said of Obama's response: "that wasn't a mistake, that wasn't weakness, that was policy, that going to the ballpark and spending less than a minute commenting on the attack. I believe in his heart of hearts the president's policy is that is not that big a deal. There are other things that are more important and that was what he was messaging."

Morning Joe rips Obama’s weak Brussels response, attendance at Cuban ballgame, wonders why he can’t be as tough as French prez?
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
When judging Obama in Cuba, it is wise to remember that he won the Nobel Peace prize.
He actually believes that being a pacifist is a good thing
Being a coward, pacifist is the natural state of his self esteem
Instead, what we get is President Nero fiddling while Rome burns.
How many more days until this Pos is packed up and of the White House?
Had O been pres on 9/11, he would have brushed it off!
BTTT
He’s also personally directed more drone strikes and killed more personally selected humans ( and some collateral victims) than any president or Nobel prize winner in history
He even boasted that he was good at killing people and he wasn’t talking about granny
*******************************************
President Nero Zero ....
I don’t think that “coward” is a full assessment, although it’s part of it.
When it comes to sneaky tactics, Obama/Jarrett are very bold. He’s pushed EOs to the limit, aided and abetted a Muslim/Mexican invasion of the US, stuffed the judiciary with libs, purged top ranks of the military, and fomented chaos in the Middle East.
But, he is a coward when he has doubts about what he can do. Many of the things I mentioned above have only come to full flower in his second term, when he knew impeachment and the threat of another election were off the table. When he has differences with Putin, he has no problem doing the sneaky sanction based stuff, but if it’s serious, he blinks.
So, he’s the worst kind of coward—aggressive when he’s got control, but snivelling and cautious when there’s doubt.
And, he ain’t from around here. He doesn’t give a crap for what used to be called The American Way.
Hey, he’s finally met his heroes - much the way Christie fainted dead away when Springsteen gave him a tumble. Leave him alone!!
muslims kill other muslims even more than they kill non-muslims.
How many more days will anyone be watching the mornin’ schmo?
I have never seen BO that happy.
He’s a Muslim, it explains everything.
That certainly wasn't true in San Bernardino nor in Brussels.
And islam is the religion of peace.
The Kenyan is good for America as a Corsican was for France, an Austrian was for Germany, or a Ukrainian was for Russia...
...or perhaps a Canadian will be for America
The only reason we haven't eliminated them.
... unless he’s a Cuban, LOL.
