UTAH CAUCUS: First hand insider report - Incompetence, Manipulation, and Ballot Stuffing!!!
Godlikeproductions ^ | 3/23/16 | Pirate monkey

Posted on 03/22/2016 10:43:27 PM PDT by M. Thatcher

Just got back from my caucus... My head is still spinning.

Check in was slow but reasonably controlled. Super-long lines. I've never seen turnout like this.

Got my credentials, but no presidential ballot. They said those would be delivered to our caucus room.

Got to my caucus room. I counted about 120 people there (no idea how many were actually registered and credentialed).

We elected Precinct Officers, State Delegates, and County Delegates - the typical incompetence and ignorance of the rules you'd expect to see from volunteers, but all went somewhat smooth.

...Then came the Presidential Ballot.

Someone shows up with a stack of probably 250 ballots. The precinct chair splits them up, and starts handing stacks of them out and tells people "take one and pass it down".

No checking credentials, IDs, NOTHING.

I'm sitting at the end of a row and people start handing me stacks of extras. I literally had over 50 ballots in my hand.

[link to i.imgur.com (secure)]

We were told to mark our vote and place our ballot in a tin can. They then asked for a volunteer to hold the can. At this point, most people filed out the door.

I cast ONE vote, then stuck around to see what would happen with the votes.

About 15 minutes later, with only about 10 or so people milling around, someone walks in the room with an envelopes STUFFED full of "absentee" ballots - some envelopes having 2-5+ ballots.

I raised a question and said, "isn't there an absentee process already in place? Didn't people have to register for that last week?" and was told "Oh no, this is completely normal".

As I've mentioned in other threads, I was in Party leadership for 6 years and no, this is absolutely not normal.

I then asked if I could observe the vote count, and I was told my observations where not needed and to leave the area while the ballots were being counted.

I left the room (things were already a complete Charlie Foxtrot at this point) and wandered over to my friends precinct caucus to see if it was just as much a cluster.

His caucus was just getting to the presidential ballot, and as I walked in the door I was handed ANOTHER BALLOT.

Again, no credential check, no ID check, NOTHING.

No, I didn't vote again...

I went back to my precinct and they had the results: 74% Cruz 14% Trump 11% Kasich

Now just imagine this kind of outright incompetence/manipulation happening in 2000 precincts across the state.

As I left the building, I started overhearing results coming back from other precincts... Overwhelmingly numbers for Cruz... Like 70-90% or more. (In one precinct Cruz got around 100, Trump had 2, Kasich 0)

Bottom line... They basically are going to post whatever the hell numbers they want.

There were no apparent controls, no credential checks, no ID checks, and ballots being handed around like napkins.

UTAH RESULTS ARE A COMPLETE SHAM

And it just cost Trump 40 delegates.

Romney won this state @ 93% in the ‘12 primaries

And @ 89.5% in the ‘08 primaries.

Cruz would be underperforming by those standards.

Wow. Trump is at 13.7%. Really pathetic showing for a presumptive nominee at this stage in the game. Hillary might seriously have a shot in UT in November.

Trump was wrong about the Mormons - he said they didn’t vote for liars - I guess they really do. How blinded are these people? Oh, wait....never mind.

This would NEVER happen in our primary.

Bernie won overwhelmingly too.

Bernie also took Utah. What does that tell you? Those people have no business voting - they are rather ignorant.

Your story is full of BS. You’re from Florida. You’re paid by Trump. And you’re trying to “justify” your boss losing badly in the Conservative state of Utah.

Voting was done online this year too. Oops. You missed that important detail.

Of course being from Florida you figured all caucuses were the same.

Be gone now. You’ve embarrassed yourself and your boss enough.

But maybe it’s Trump who should be embarrassed for hiring a lying hack like yourself...and for getting schlonged by the real conservative, Ted Cruz.

TRUMP BALLOT SECURITY PROJECT
Committee to Restore America’s Greatness PAC
FR Posted 3/19/16 by Albion Wilde

The Trump Ballot Security Project (TBSP) was formed when the main stream media reported dozens of voting irregularities in the Texas Republican primary. This ultimately totaled over 600 reports in at least six counties including Dallas County and Travis County. In virtually every case votes cast for Donald J. Trump were tallied for Senator Marco Rubio.

(NOTE:Even though @realDonaldTrump won delegates in Texas the @TedCruz- @georgepbush #RickPerry cabal is refusing to slate Trump supporters.)

The TBSP established a Toll Free number to collect further reports of voter irregularities.

Almost immediately there were over 300 complaints from Oklahoma. Only a week later the Kansas and Maine Caucuses brought hundreds of more complaints including claims of double voting by supporters of Sen. Ted Cruz.

Now we are focused on Arizona, Utah, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California. To the extent possible, we are attempting to place trained poll watchers in those counties with a recent history of voter fraud.

The Trump Ballot Security Project is committed to investigating all complaints of voter fraud. In the event a pattern can be determined, the seating of these delegations can and will be challenged before the Credentials committee of the Republican National Convention.

We have dispatched lawyers and election law experts to all of the states mentioned above to investigate and document voter fraud. NOTE The Trump campaign is not currently devoting resources to this important function.

TBSP is a project of the Committee To Restore America's Greatness

I believe it may well be the last caucus.

And even though the one I attended seemed to be run properly, it is easy to see how ripe this process is for real, serious fraud.

Absolutely no ballot integrity at all; no ballot # on it, no voter # on it, just 3 names (as though I ran it off at the local Kinko’s). I could have easily gotten extra ballots just by asking a different person to give me one. There would seem to be no way at all to investigate results that seemed fishy.

I would rather not choose public officials using this method.

She won’t. UT will go GOP regardless of the nominee.

In the general, UT went 75% Romney in ‘12 and 62% McCain in ‘08.

I don’t necessarily see anything dirtier than the LDS Church and leading Mormon politicians like Mitt Romney anointing Ted Cruz.

Last time Mitt was on the ballot in a presidential primary in Utah he got 90 percent of the vote, no kidding.

If Cruz had been Mormon he would have hit 90 percent no doubt.

Unbelievable. Feelings of frustration and helplessness in the face of this type of fraud. Thanks for reporting this. Though what can be done about it I can’t imagine.

Not necessarily..

Utah will do whatever the Morg thinks will be beneficial to the Morg..

they would have gone for carter in 1980 but carter was “persecuting” them to stop being racist and allow black men to join and be priesthood holders like the white males...

so in 1978 they let the black males join and to punish carter they had the Mormon peasants all vote for the much hated Ronald Reagan...

they must have been in a quandary that year on who they hated the most...

Wow, how ignorant you are. M. Thatcher didn’t write this - merely posted it from an online site. I guess you didn’t read tht little tidbit, did you? YOU are the one who missed an important detail - the online voting went belly up and many were denied their right to vote. If lying, cheating, Ted is the real conservative - then just count me out. I can’t and won’t identify with someone who plays footsies with Glenn Beck and the Bush crime family. How sad that you do. You are the one who should be embarrassed that you support such a weasel.

The state is only worth what, 5 EVs? Not worth trying to appease people that crazy.
