AZ - 58 delegates (Winner Take All)
UT - 40 delegates (Proportional, WTA > 50%)
Then you must be the exception in Cruz supporters?
“The conservatives supporting Ted Cruz are far more intelligent and informed than the knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers filling up the Trump rallies. Trump does well with the poorly educated for a reason.”
Because 4 technical degrees, a Masters certificate, a teaching certificate, 2 military diplomas and fluency in Chinese isn’t enough for you.
A second place finisher rarely gets extensive media coverage.
Cruz won in UT. He still won’t win anywhere else.
This is just like Kasich in OH. Irrelevant going forward.
I don’t think it is.
Provo is in Utah County. It should be one of Cruz’s best counties as it is a huge Mormon County.
It doesn’t look like Salt Lake is deviating from the state average. If you think about it, the non-Mormons there probably are more likely to vote Democrat.
Trump’s best hope is Summit County (Park City), where there is a resort community and non-Mormons.
My guess is that Cruz will finish well above 50%.
Cruz won’t drop below 50% thanks to his blowout margins.
CNN just projected The Bern winning ID.
I am NOT a mormon. I know a few.
yes, Utah is run by them... and there are indications of fraud statewide.
Mitt is a lightweight jerk. and a loser.
I think the real vote in Utah would be around 45 for ted, 38 or so for trump and others total the difference.
There is quite a link on FreeRepublic tonight about the fraudulent way that the Utah caucus was done at polling stations... no id, ballot stuffing etc.
I think this is standard for caucus states... and the reason why Ted has done better in them than he has in real primaries with oversight of the balloting procedures.
regardless of the integrity or lack thereof in Utah... overall, trump gained 58 and cruz MAY have gained 40... with a tainted process being represented by some freepers who were there.
And them mormons and them baptists all know the sowing and reaping principles. If they cheat it will be the result and cause of their own downfall, live by the cheat, die by the cheat... etc.
Mitt Choked because he and his stepchild Teddy are globalist insiders. This is probably Teddy’s last “pseudo” win.
Liz Mair is a RINO fired by Walker campaign after working for him one day. She is a turd.
Those numbers are so far out of whack with every poll and with every primary so far that there must have been quite a bit of creative voting out there in Utah.
I think you could say the fix went in.
Have you watched the TV series Scandal?
Yes, you are correct. Cruz already responded with a tweet reply to TRUMP’s warning.
Cruz, in typical Cruz fashion, said it was a PAC ad (as if that matters) and that Trump was stinky old coward to bother Heidi— well,.... something to that effect. lol.
The exact Cruz response was up thread, but I have no idea where, at this point.
I agree.
I am one of the most vicious Trumpkins when provoked, but I am possessed of a sense of fair play.
I don't recognize the poster that you were toying with as one of the egregious "cruzers".
I would elbowed you out of the way, bloody cutlass in hand, had that been the case. :)
Bern and Cruz have all won same states in lower 48, apart from Cruz’s win in TX.
Its uncanny.
As I typed that, most of Summit County (Park City) popped in and Cruz nearly cleared 50% there (44%). All 40 delegates in Utah look Cruz bound.
For the night, it will likely be:
Trump +58 (AZ)
Cruz +40 (UT)
Uncommitted +9 (American Samoa)
ping to 1117.
Oh, yeah. To know Cruz is NOT to love him. I thought I did know him before this election (and a year ago, he was my guy and I would have laughed if you had suggested I’d be for Donald Trump), but now that I know him even better, I don’t like what I see. At all.
Coming in quicker now. 50% is a certainty.
Provo and Orem have BYU and UVU, born draw a significant number of young people from around the country, many who take residency. That’s a bit of a wild card in the mix.
Don’t forget to vote in the FR caucus:
Rules: No punctuation. Vote only one time per 24 hours. Clock stops at midnight Eastern time each day.
Type your vote as one of the following:
Vote Cruz
Vote Kasich
Vote Trump
Vote No
— (means you wouldn’t vote)
