Trump Offers Job To Woman At Presser: You're Hired!

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump may have created one job today at a press availability. At a news conference he held at the old Post Office building in Washington, D.C a woman with a media credential wanted to know if Trump was hiring decorators for the building. He immediately called for her to come up onstage and then offered her a job.

Great presser. My observations:
- Very "presidential" -- soft-spoken, relaxed and engaging Trump. The negotiator, "art of the deal" guy was on display.
- Hiring a woman on the spot was a little thing, but it shows Trump's heart is in the right place. He treasures competence and respects the dignity of the people around him. This act of kindness will resonate.
- You sense that a Trump administration will engage openly and honestly with people and press.
- He answered many questions, knew half the reporters on a first name basis.
- Hits on his opponents were not insults. Trump merely stating the facts and amplified the message that he's way ahead of the pack. He explained why he will beat Hillary.
- Welcome to a new and improved "Great Communicator" who speaks person-to-person. No speech, no elitist jerking of the neck (Romney), just a very natural, plain English delivery.
- Guys standing behind Trump were foremen and managers at the Trump International renovation project. Looked like one guy hadn't worn a tie in 20 years -- his shirt collar was poking out -- LOL! That too showed that Trump is a man of the people.

Check posts 17 and 18.
Only Trump could do it because he actually employs people.

Slobbering admirer of Trump? You bet! Read my FR vanity where I compared him to
Ulysses.
But it just might be that after 63 years on this planet, my antenna can detect people who are authentic, accomplished, and trustworthy. Of course, it's true, I could be all wet.
Yup. On the spot, I'd hire Trump as my president.

That was the best press conference seen...perhaps ever. The added fact the woman asking the question was invited to come on stage, and immediately told talk to this gentleman right here. This was a window looking into the man. He is on the Presidential road and planning to make it to the WH
This afternoon watching his presence on stage at AIPAC. He gave us the impression he had already made it to the peak Came away from the tee-vee screen filled with spirit and desire to see a new man sit in the cushy chair in the Oval Office. As D J Trump explained. We’ve seen Pres. Obama’s last year in office /yeah\ With the statement and gester
He was showing his lead and ownership of the situation. If given the opportunity, he will manage to bring back our AMERICA. Committed to do so or die trying. There can be no doubt that he loves this country.
LOL the gentleman standing behind him did attempt to loosen his shirt neck-line as gents do tugging constantly. Once he left the hall - probably the first to don another piece of wardrobe.
Donald had a very industrious day today. Look forward to seeing the man in action.
GO TRUMP!

Yes indeed, VK. The style displayed was definitely presidential. But it was minus the phony pomp and circumstance airs that Romney and Obama give us. When Trump is in office, government will serve the people. Could government workers in Washington think and act like they are servants of the people? Let's hope so. Seeing all this is so refreshing. |
