In an interview on CBS' "Face the Nation," establishment-type Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., admitted that he would prefer to lose the election to Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton than to have Trump as president.
"We can lose an election, but I dont want us to lose our heart and soul," said Graham. "If we nominate Donald Trump, and he carries the banner of the Republican Party, given who he is and what he said about immigrants, about Muslims and young women, we will not just lose the election. We have lost the heart and soul of the conservative movement. That's what is at stake."

I lost all respect for Trump when he turned on Cruz and poured outrageous and hateful lies on Ted’s rock ribbed conservative head.
But I will vote for Duh Donald a thousand times to keep a GD Democrat out of the White House.
///a choice between Trump and the Hilderbeast///
How terrifying would it be to have Scalia replaced by 0bama?
Expletives are needed to describe Limpwristy Grahamnesty.
//Are all people in Texas as stupid as you?//
I’m for Trump but I can’t let that go by.
Lot of good folks from Texas. Chris Kyle for example.
Another loser had rather see this country continue to be destroyed by a radical progressive like Hillary Clinton than for the GOP to lose its power and position. My God, he should at least be run out of Congress for saying that.
He must have forgot
Arguably the most conservative state in the nation
*****************************
Not if you look closely at their Senators and Congressmen, they are almost all Cheap Labor Express stooges
Are you going to vote for her then?
Masks are coming off.
Cognitive dissonance is an ugly thing, eh comrade?
Trump never endorsed excessive use of police force, and he never will.
Pure fiction, or, bad,"low brow" propaganda.
You’re absolutely right!
Hillary is corrupt to the core - she fits in nicely as an establishment “Conservative”.
The ruling republican elite supports socialism, so if not Bush then Hillary will do.
Poor Lindsey, bent over in the shower one too many times when he was in the Navy.
Lindsey-winsey has been ideologically challenged ever since.
Because I think he is a congenital liar and at least to a degree, mentally unbalanced. He has a long established track record of saying whatever he thinks the given audience wants to hear and he has the temperament of a third grader in a school yard smackdown contest. That’s not someone I want within a few hundred miles of the button.
Hillary wants your guns, gun lover.
It must be awful to support Cruz and have to put up with this guy. He thinks he was a standard bearer for conservatism. Anyone agree with that?
If you’re saying you are considering voting for Hillary Clinton, what the hell are you doing on FR?
Answer me.
“How terrifying would it be to have Scalia replaced by 0bama?”
That’s a really good question. When Scalia died I was horrified at the thought of who might replace him. But with the realization that Clinton is all but certain to be the next President, I am starting to think it is an error to refuse even considering Zero’s nominee. In the grand scheme of things Garland is almost certain to be better than anyone the wicked witch will send up.
I have a terrible feeling that we are making a huge mistake here. God this is just the most depressing election year I can remember in my lifetime.
Why do you hate America so???
