This week, in the Utah nominating caucus, I will vote for Senator Ted Cruz.
Today, there is a contest between Trumpism and Republicanism. Through the calculated statements of its leader, Trumpism has become associated with racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, vulgarity and, most recently, threats and violence. I am repulsed by each and every one of these.
The only path that remains to nominate a Republican rather than Mr. Trump is to have an open convention. At this stage, the only way we can reach an open convention is for Senator Cruz to be successful in as many of the remaining nominating elections as possible.
I like Governor John Kasich. I have campaigned with him. He has a solid record as governor. I would have voted for him in Ohio. But a vote for Governor Kasich in future contests makes it extremely likely that Trumpism would prevail.
I will vote for Senator Cruz and I encourage others to do so as well, so that we can have an open convention and nominate a Republican.

Mitt Romney is a heck of a lot more conservative than Trump would ever be if he lived to be a million years. Trump is a hardcore, lifelong far left liberal.
And Trump does? How is that RINO establishment Chris Christie and Mitch McConnell endorsements for Donald Trump going?
Showing video tapes of Trump in his own words supporting Planned Parenthood, abortion, TARP, PORKULUS and every single liberal position known to man, is now called “lying”?
How disheartening for so many - on both sides of the aisle if there is more than one side - to blame Trump for the violence at some of his events, while the real perpetrator / financeer - George S0r0s - gets an almost complete pass blame-wise.
It is past time that the citizenship of S0r0s be revoked and he be kicked out of the country! Of course, he would then probably collapse the dollar, plunging us into eternal darkness a place S0r0s knows plenty about!
You know that Mitch McConnell never endorsed Trump, right?

A poster up the line likened the 'endorsement' to a crap sandwich. When Ted accepted it at face value that's what it was...minimal benefit for the Utah primary, but long term damage to his "brand." Potential voters will conclude he's down with messing with the will of the voters.
Suppose he had some political insight...it wouldn't be a crap sandwich, but a hanging curve ball.
He would say, "I'm not sure what to say about that, so maybe I shouldn't say anything at all...but I will. Obviously Mitt has noticed there's a revolution going on in the party. Voters feel they're not being respected. Schemes like this are a perfect example why they are right. Party insiders need to stop shooting the messenger, and listen to the message."

You KNOW what I mean by lying, and your straw man arguments are tiresome and really, really stupid.
Cruz is not a saint and Trump is not the devil, and the sooner you admit that, the more serious people will take you. Then maybe your arguments won’t be mocked by everyone who isn’t already completely on your side.

Eh, I don’t think you’re alone. That’s fine. I’m less impressed with Cruz and his command of Constitutional issues. i have problems with other ties that he has.
I have problems with his votes as a Senator that I feel are contrary to the Constitution.
I note that he is singing the praises of a wall these days.

“Conservatives” who are more than happy to roll over and give the left whatever they want again and again. Example: Ted Cruz and the Corker Bill, or siding with Obama and the MSM that leftist rioters are all Donald Trump’s fault because of his “heated rhetoric”, etc...
