Keep in mind I am not even American, but here’s my take:
Trump may certainly not be that pure conservative, even by a long shot, but he seems to want to get there. Has Jeff Sessions been completely fooled? Phyllis Schafly? Palin? Dr. Jeffress? Jerry Falwell Jr.?
Trump is surrounding himself with the right people and he’s showing the backbone to fight.
I started out liking Cruz, but realized pretty quickly that he’d never win the general election. Sorry, but there’s something very unsettling about him. He sounds so much like a slick and phony lawyer/politician. I think the left would chew him up and spit him out. They won’t do that with Mr. Trump. Other way around.
Trump has a 67% unfavorable rating among general election voters. He is the only GOP candidate who consistently loses to Hillary in the polls.
Bump....
I supported Sen.Cruz until he started these attacks on
his opponents then saying Trumps rhetoric was the cause
of the protestors anger etc.
We know, that Trump will cut deals with our liberal opposites
but we also know that they will think they have won until
they realize the butthurt they are experiencing when they
see that they didn’t get the best of the bargain.
I voted for Cruz before he started acting up or out
otherwise I would have voted Trump like I will in the
general election.
t.
Great take, foreigner!! Teasing, I mean it, you get it.
You certainly have a good handle on things down here in the states... I wish others did...
Thank-you Judy!
Well said!
Judy, What you said is EXACTLY my take on this. What amazes me is that here is a man who is shaking up the globalists, his enemies are the enemies of conservatism. If Trump is so much an establishment guy as some are saying .the left such as George Soros should be happy. But they are not ! Just why is that? Stop and think about it.
I dont think we will ever have the opportunity again to elect a person who is really an outsider someone who isnt taking money from controlling entities. How many people can fund their own campaign?
I battled in deciding whether to support Trump or Cruz, but the way the progressives in and outside of the party are responding with such vitriol to Trump (and not to Cruz) I found worth noting.
Why those on the right are also so angry with Trump and fail to give him some fairness is beyond me. The radio pundits supported Romney, remember? But the disrespect they show for Trump is beyond the pale.
Right you are, JinC!
“Keep in mind I am not even American,”
I’d say you’re more “American” than 50% of the people in this country We’ll make you an Honorary American — how would that be? — and welcome you with open arms!
Judy Judy Judy.............
You are correct. I like Canadian Chix. They do nasty things, like.........
Being pro Trump.
;-)
Your post should be a thread dear
Very well done and is exactly how I feel
The self righteous superiority of Cruzatics in light of getting whipped is
Off putting.
Right on, Judy in Canada.
For someone outside looking in, your insight is spot on. Its a pleasure to have you a part of the Freeper team!
