Independents and crossover dems = same thing.

Expect shenanigans.

Trump runs the table.

If he surprises Kasickness, he’s put the race away.

Don’t matter at that point if Cruz stays in. Its all about the delegate math.

Looks like Trump is going to win OH!

I can’t hardly wait to hear the lamentations of the GOP establishment and MSM.

Fingers crossed!

He also loses the vast majority of polls against Hillary/Sanders.

How is that “wrong” or “willfully blind”?

It’s clear that my contention has a good good deal more validity than yours.

Look at those numbers! Off the charts.

I’m calling OH right now for Trump!

Missouri "Modified Caucus"

Does that mean collectivist cajoling and groupthink?

If so, another "caucus" win for Ted Cruz, I suppose...

It’s all about expectation now. Cruzers are setting them in the basement so they can claim a win in MO is a stop the press event. On the the flip side media building up Trump so they can tear him down if he doesn’t run the table.

I don’t think anyone thought about the Marianas delegates, and that 9 delegate pickup to start the day was important for Trump.

It’s clear that my contention has a good good deal more validity than yours.

You can't lend validity to a vacuous statement by adding useless hypothetical general election polls as "evidence". If you can't see that Trump has tremendous traction among independents and blue-collar democrats, and that Cruz has none, then, yes, you are both wrong and willfully blind.

Heads Up to ALL Illinois voters!

You get to choose either a Republican or Democrat ballot.

Be sure to vote for the delegates who are pledged to your candidate of choice!

AND be sure to check the back side of your ballot to vote for any alternate delegates who are pledged to your candidate of choice.

It seems like some states deliberately complicate things so as to confuse people.

Perhaps, but the analogy is still valid. It’s what was said not where he said it and anyone with half a brain could forsee the imminent potential results.

I am by no means saying he is fully to blame. The majority of blame should and does fall on the people invloved but he bears a degree of responsibility nonetheless.

“That appears to be what to watch for. “

I agree. Why would the hard-core dems work themselves into fits of anger and protest Trump rallies, then sign up to vote for him? More likely, they’re signing up to vote AGAINST him, knowing that he’s the only candidate who could possibly beat Hillary.

Just another way the GOP-e has managed to shoot themselves in the foot. Open primaries are just SO BLANKING STUPID (no matter WHO it benefits). Why on EARTH should we allow our political enemies to choose who OUR candidate is? What idiot came up with THAT one?

[insert sound of grinding teeth here]

Yes! SOMEONE needs to talk back to the media mouthpiece of the pro-slavery-lite cabal! If it is racist to not let foreigners illegally into the country, then is it, if your name is Smith, “Smithist” not to let the Jones family into your house to eat your food and sleep in your bed?

The media is calling Trump and his supporters racist. By what definition? Their racist-baiting reminds me of Bill Ayers in college, when he brought a white girl to his dorm room, then after making out with her, insisted she have sex right there with his black friend to prove she wasn’t racist.

Can these media people back up their claims of racism on Trump? Explain, in 500 words, why it is racism to want a closed border on your country. Explain the racism of wanting Americans of all stripes to have jobs in our companies over foreigners of all stripes???? NO ONE EVER CALLS THEM ON THIS.

The extent of dissatisfaction with the establishment says it all.

I can’t imagine that being a pro-Kasich vote as he and Mittens are the essence of the establishment.

We’ve seen this in polls before - angry voters benefit Trump and in OH they’re a majority of the electorate.

Look at last week in MS and MI - both states won by Trump.

Can you see a pattern now?

I support Trump but sharply disagree with his views on trade which are basically about imposing tariffs (taxes) which in turn hurt the American consumer and the American economy and are thus counter-productive, and utterly fail to attack the underlying root causes of businesses fleeing America.

Don't worry, the Congress will have to pass such things. I think President Trump will work with the People to achieve consensus on any issues where there is sharp division, or many factors to consider...

So you’ve just protected an inferior company and failed to deal with the undying causes of what is making that company inferior, which is government-forced higher costs of that domestic company doing business. You’ve also forced a lower standard of living for the American consumer. Open competition free from government interference has always worked and will always work. Protectionism never works and it hides the underlying problems. Around and around we go.

We are not talking about an individual company, but entire industries. When one side is cheating on trade agreements, it is unfair competition. It is not a level playing field.

FYI: For most of our existence as a country, we have had protectionist policies.

As far as what other countries do, you and others are too worried about that. Countries that defy the simple laws of supply and demand economics by doing things like wage and price controls (”artificially cheap”) will fail sooner or later.

We are worried because our industrial base is disappearing and so are our jobs. We have the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years. There are 94 million Americans of working age without jobs and we bring in almost two million foreign workers a year who depress wages and take jobs from Americans.

All of this government economic manipulation like currency manipulation, amounts to changing the measurements on a scale and thinking that changes the actual weight of the thing being weighed. Sooner or later, economic realities crush such futility. The strongest countries are those that allow open competition and voluntary market exchanges without government interference. And again, if other countries play these self-defeating games playing economic Russian roulette, it doesn’t mean we have to.

Then why sign trade agreements if the other side is not abiding by them? Why do we have to play by the rules and they don't? We suffer a trade deficit with almost every country on earth. And we are the world's biggest debtor nation. The rest of the world is helping to fund our profligate spending. We are the ones playing Russian roulette with a !9 trillion national debt and over $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities, i.e., our entitlement programs.

Again, as I’ve outlined, the federal government’s minimum wage and price (tariffs) controls, among other things, are the root causes of our GDP being lower than it should be and the migration of certain industry. The answer isn’t to shut up but to scream vociferously for an end to unconstitutional, wasteful, cost-raising, dead-end government economic interference.

It is our crony capitalists working with government that negotiate these bad trade deals. We can't keep flooding this country with foreign workers and expect our economy to grow. We have a huge surplus of labor and we are importing poverty.
