I’m not going to parse words, but if the convention were to make the decision to only allow the top two candidates be available on the 2nd ballot, very similar to 1976 between Reagan and Ford, I could see why the second place guy would go for that.

But since the establishment hates both Cruz and Trump, that is less likely than Rubio jumping back in and winning the rest of the races.
