Sen. Ted Cruz said Monday that GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump views protesters as disloyal people worthy of punishment and that the best response to Mr. Trump is to defeat him at the ballot box, reiterating his own pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee in the fall.
Mr. Cruz re-upped criticism of Mr. Trump for recently having rally attendees pledge their support to him, likening it to an action kings and queens demand of their subjects.
Its also reflected in his treatment of protesters, where anyone whos a protester is disloyal and must be punished, Mr. Cruz told reporters in Illinois ahead of the March 15 primary there.
The only pledge that I am interested in, the only hand-raising that Im interested in is on January 20, 2017, when I hope to raise my right hand with my left hand on the Bible and pledge to each and every one of you that I will preserve, protect [and] defend the Constitution and fight for the hard-working taxpayers, Mr. Cruz said.

That is a question the voters are asking: At what point do we say enough is enough? Mr. Cruz said. If Donald Trump is the nominee, he is a disaster, and the answer is to beat him.

Trump stated he was concerned about the safety of his audience. He said that he was perfectly safe as his security was excellent.
If Cruz is gonna take their side then Im going over to the Trump camp.

Welcome into the Trump camp, my friend.
Sorry Cruz turned out like he did.
You’re simply wrong. TPP hasn’t even come up for a vote yet and Cruz has already said he will not support it. It likely will not pass, in fact, with bipartisan support.
Changing the subject doesn’t change the facts.
Your boy Ted is infectious human waste.
Good day.
Cruz wants the job way too much to make his Christian profession believable.
Off course he said that then continued on to accuse Trump of causing it. Sort of like saying yes I do, then no don't, which is true?
“Youre simply wrong. TPP hasnt even come up for a vote yet”
Did you read what I posted? I did not say TPP had been passed. I said that TPA had been passed in order to fast-track TPP. It will come up this year, and due to Cruz’s promotion and votes, it will likely pass. It only needs 51 votes. The amount of money required to buy off senators to get it through is as nothing to them.
When/where did Cruz attack Sessions?
I read the article and didn’t see it anywhere. I even googled “Cruz attacks Sessions” and found nothing but one article on ‘The right scoop’ from June of last year.
“Them” being Cruz’s globalist buddies, the ones that pull his strings.
“And to think I WAS supporting this guy...!”
A quick search through your posts determines this statement to be inaccurate. I couldn’t find a Cruz positive post from you. What I did find was articles challenging his citizenship and his lack of ‘friends’ in the senate.
Your statement contains just about as much truth as me saying I supported trump because I once said he would make things entertaining year...
Fox is terrible. CNN was doing better but are now terrible. MSNBC? Well, with the exception of Joe Scarborough, are notorious leftist. Nothing to watch.
Oh I agree he wasn’t too worried.
He needs to be a bit more worried in my opinion.
He’s always been this calculating. What you’re seeing is deperation.
I read what you wrote. You said Cruz was for TPP. That’s patently false. I don’t know how else I can say it. He will be a NO vote on TPP later this year. TPP is not going to pass, even with a 51 vote threshold, especially in an election year.
TPA will be helpful down the line when we get better trade deals as the democrats will not be able to obstruct.
He is talking about how the unions beat people down.
Like Don Adams who was a Freeper here who protested Clinton.
Union thugs best people down.
Thirty years ago we didn't have 61 million immigrants here to completely change our culture.
>> I imagine well have to have WPA type programs for awhile, if we are to rebuild our infrastructure.
I used to think that, but it would turn into a giant SSI disability boondoggle. The gummint would sign the gibsemdats up (and only the gibsmedats) and they would hurt their backs and go on SSI as a person who became disabled in a federal job.
Maybe you should do a search on what Cruz said about TPP.
True, but lots of times CNN many times will continue to cover a story live when Fox pulls back to get face time for their over rated pundits.
And put the important event in the background with no sound.
Tomorrow starting at 4pm Fox will have Megyn Kelly hosting with her mini me Bret Bier for Super Tue coverage.
I’ll flip by there once in a while, but probably will watch on another venue.
