Republican presidential candidate John Kasich said Wednesday that Donald Trumps call to ban most Muslims from the United States would weaken the nation and doesnt represent what we are.
This is not what leads to a strong America, Mr. Kasich said during an appearance at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. We have never been strong by focusing on things designed to divided us.
-snip-
Mr. Kasich also said that he is encouraged by how moderate Muslims have come out against the Islamic State terror group, or ISIS.
They have condemned aggressively the attacks all over the word, he said.

Ugh, the exact same language as Jeb! I thought we were rid of him weeks ago. I guess Kasich is now the GOPe pet of the moment?
“Mr. Kasich also said that he is encouraged by how moderate Muslims have come out against the Islamic State terror group, or ISIS.”

Is this true? Which ones? I must have dozed off and missed this.
Who’s “we” John? Besides, you and obama?
Better look behind you...ain’t many American folk behind ya on that one.
A true UniParty member and spokesman. It is YOU that is what’s wrong with America....just go away.
Typical scumbag modern politician.
They define “what we are” and “what we believe in” regardless of what the vast majority of our citizens actually want or believe.
Tar and Feathering needs to come back into style, IMO.
Not sure I agree, once they find out what’s going on, things might get tighter...As I think they will, but at least he is willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until more information is known. JMO
Kasich must have found a poll that shows how popular terrorists are with Buckeyes, but surely he is just making this up?
FU John Kasich.
I don’t need more jihad in my state. I will never vote for you.
Apparently, Kasich thinks Buckeye support is enough for him to be nominated, the way Newton Gingrich though of his GA and SC backing four years ago.
I have no idea why this man is still in the race.
Jeff Sessions for VP.
We? Does John Mailmanson Kasich have a turd in his pocket?
I guess he thinks Muslim violence and barbarism against Christians, the West, and women represents "who we are."
Kasich seems to have a brain problem.
He doesn’t remember San Bernardino, Boston, recruiters getting shot up at recruiting stations, fort hood, Time square bomber with propane tanks,, shoe bomber..... all since 9-11.
GFY John Kasich, with a wooden broomstick loaded with splinters.
I really wish politicians would stop with the “that is not who we are.”
Screw you and the horse you road in on. Don’t define me by your terms.
“I loathe that expression not who we are. “
Same with me.
As far as I know, Obama originated that expression, or majored it. And certainly no one has a more heart connection to the American people than Barack Obama. Even his name would inform anyone of that.
John (I’ve already done that!!!) Kaisch seized on it since politicians of his ilk want to appear to be morally superior to all of us. I am sure he said it with a disappointed tragic tone in his voice.
Apparently what they are is a bunch of Muslim terrorist supporters and enablers. Traitors committing acts of treason against our people.
It represents me, John.
Now STFU.
L
Represents me just fine.
The trojan horse in all this are the mosques and those who frequent them.
Man, the people are so ignorant they’d pet a skunk and compliment his nice color.
