Cruz: Responsibility in campaigns 'starts at the top'
The Hill ^ | 3/13/2016 | Rebecca Savransky

Posted on 03/13/2016 9:25:32 AM PDT by 20yearsofinternet

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz said on Sunday that the protesters at rival Donald Trump's rallies are behaving "abusively and wrong," but added that it doesn't help when the GOP front-runner encourages violence.

"At the end of the day in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top," the Texas senator said on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday.

"And it is not beneficial when you have a presidential candidate like Donald Trump telling his supporters, 'Punch that guy in the face.' We ought to have a president who brings us together, who doesn't seek to divide us."

Cruz said on Sunday that the protesters at Trump's rallies don't have a right to "threaten violence."

He added that it's important a candidate show respect for the voters.

“How do you get from there to “toeing the liberal line of attack that it’s all Trump’s fault”? “

Because Cruz then turned around and compared Trump to the racebaiting of Obama!

“Cruz also compared the “demagoguery” of Trump to President Obama, who he called “a world class demagogue” for his language “designed to divide us.” “

http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/cruz-reaffirms-commitment-trump-if-nominee-despite-demagoguery-n537481

Cruz has a lot more in common with Obama than Trump does!

“That when you talk about hitting people who disagree with you, when you offer to pay legal expenses for followers who assault others, when your response to a follower sucker punching another person ( knock out game anyone) is to say you have people looking into paying for his defense.”

THAT DEPENDS. Trump was VERY CLEAR that if the Disrupter INSTIGATED the punch, then Trump will support.

What you NEED TO UNDERSTAND is that while people have the right to disagree, and to protest (peacefully), THEY DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO DISRUPT a political event, no more than any conservative has “the right” in the audience has the right to get up and START SCREAMING during Obama’s State of the Unions...even if many have wanted to.

I think the attacks and the 3 stooges response’s were the tesult of the Sea Island confab, Jub Bush being the messenger srnt to the 3 stooges on debate day to advise them what to say.

Notice after the confab, Jebvs brother Kneel Bush joined the Cruz campaign.

I would jail the head of the Department of Justice, then begin the grand Jury on Congressional corruption and malfeasance in Obama’s rule by Fiat.

It’s not called waving the Constitution, it’s called bringing Traitors to the gallows.

Cruz is now accusing Trump of abusing his supporters.

‘Could you imagine a Trump rally going to go visit a Bernie campaign speech next? I can, and that does prove Ted’s point.’

Your imagination ‘proves’ Cruz’ point? Don’t you need facts to prove a thing, as opposed to a fertile imagination?

Nice! lol

“Cruz also compared the “demagoguery” of Trump to President Obama, who he called “a world class demagogue” for his language “designed to divide us.” “

Cruz has a lot more in common with Obama than Trump does!
What’s really funny about that is that Cruz IS comparable...
1st term do nothing senator, with NO executive experience. Tied in with Wall Street. Harvard alumni and lies like Obama....and we KNOW TED was born on foreign soil! Both from dysfunctional families too!

That is correct.

Too bad the candidate gave them political cover by muddying the waters with his rhetoric over a period of months.

“Ted Cruz offers a return to Justice”

Justice IS NOT SIDING WITH DISRUPTERS, and now siding with attackers. Sorry, but Ted REALLY STEPPED IN IT on this, and I don’t see a way for him to recover...particularly if the postings on this site (which used to be 50/50 Cruz/Trump are any indication).

How many of these “sorts of people” has he attracted so far...that one 78 year old guy?

Meanwhile the left has dozens if not hundreds if not thousands of followers willing to go out and disrupt.

It’s the total lack of perspective in placing the blame that is so galling. The left always gets a pass. And here we have Ted Cruz, the conservative mastermind, helping prop up the double standard.

Cruz is spot on. Trump needs to be removed at the Convention if necessary.

I think YOU need to be removed, you GOPe/#blackliesmatter/#sandersSuckup.

Well, there may still be time for CRUZ TO APOLOGIZE, but it doesn’t appear he’s interested in doing that.

Ignoring Ted’s point to grasp at offense and rage does not invalidate the point. Rage is a very pooir substitute for reason and in the end accomplishes little but destruction.

‘How many of these “sorts of people” has he attracted so far...that one 78 year old guy?’

If it were possible to add up all the people who have attended Trump’s rallies, I wonder what percentage that one guy would represent.

Seems both ‘sides’ of this are correct, the little Marxists are disruptors AND someone gave them an ‘excuse’ by using righteous anger as a fuse.

Cruz is a liar. He is also a very sicko opportunist who will sink to the lowest levels to win.

Reasoning is the first loss to anger.

If you want WAR, TV Star is the guy.
If you want revolution, Cruz is the guy.
