Opportunist Ted Cruz: “Donald Trump is Responsible” For Organized Chicago Violence (video)…
Conservative Treehouse ^ | Mar 11 2016 | Conservative Treehouse

Posted on 03/11/2016 10:25:59 PM PST by WilliamIII

This is quite stunning even for a politician as low as Ted Cruz. Senator Cruz has a prime opportunity to highlight the intolerance of the left. Instead he choses to attack Donald Trump:

At a media availability in Chicago, Ted Cruz basically blamed Donald Trump for the violence and protests that occurred earlier in the day at a Donald Trump rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

Yep, that's Cruz's exact quote.

And it's horrendous.

Tonight, Cruz just guaranteed Tromp's nomination.

Agnes, your attitude is disturbing. This is a forum for rational discussion not name calling. That said, Cruz blaming Trump for a planned protest provided by the far left is not just dishonest, it shows a shocking lack of political insight. Even someone who has “lost his mind” can easily see that Ted has made a very bad move. This is a move that makes him not only look stupid; it makes him look like a lying opportunist.

You are both quibbling and, sorry, but we aren’t in court.
He blamed Trump. My cow died so I don’t need your bull.
But thanks for reminding us of your candidate, Ted Cruz.

So was Trump responsible for all the other riots and protests in this country? The left does not need to reason to riot. They always riot when they lose. So i guess being a winner is Trumps main fault. Cruz needs to apologize or shut the hell up!

Of course he was. Trump has had the audacity to put America first. That makes him responsible for all evil in the universe.

“Misleading headline. Cruz didn’t say Trump was responsible for the violence. He said Trump was responsible for creating a negative atmosphere.”

Kind of like: “I’m not saying that she’s responsible for having just been raped, I’m saying that her short dress created an atmosphere that drove others to rape her.”

One thing for sure - It’s not easy for Cruz defenders tonight, regardless of how much they’re being paid.

“Or maybe the far Left doesn’t consider Cruz a threat.”

They don’t have to worry about Cruz. He was already on thin ice with his recent behavior and this pretty much ends his his chances of EVER being a national politician.

Not only does he STINK to the leftists (as he always did), he now STINKS to conservatives...so he’s through.

Ironic, isn’t it. The left was trying to take out Trump, but they MISSED and wound up taking out Cruz! LOL!!!

Cruz is a media midget. No understanding at all of the optics of his statements. He would be devastated by any of the demorat choices except perhaps Sanders. People want to hate him. He is Pugley Addams.

I have supported Cruz throughout this race, and I still do, but I am extremely disappointed by this.

Is Trump the only one willing to stand up to the BLM professional agitators?

You wrote: “I have supported Cruz throughout this race, and I still do, but I am extremely disappointed by this. . . . Is Trump the only one willing to stand up to the BLM professional agitators?”

My questions to you are these:

Why do you support a guy who is not willing to stand up to BLM professional agitators?

And if this guy won’t stand up to BLM professional agitators, what is your reason for thinking he would stand up to enemies far worse than BLM agitators?

Further, in light of this, do you really think this guy will stand up for the constitution, if the agitators demanded otherwise?

At presidential level politics, nothing is by chance.

The leftist violence in Chicago is designed to push a theme that Donald Trump=Violence.

The Republican candidates other than Trump chime in on cue, the media chimes in on cue.

At this moment a candidate I support, Ted Cruz, is in the house of political prostitution where his only path forward is to be part of the dirtiest trick yet pulled on Trump.

In Mississippi a few years ago (2014) Democrat operatives were used to take out the conservative candidate Chris McDaniel in a primary runoff with Democrats recruited to vote against McDaniel, who was labeled a racist.

Would the GOPe use leftists to disrupt Trump rallies and ignite violence and blame it on Trump.

YES THEY WOULD.

Trump / Cruz 2016
I’ve given up on Cruz ever being on this ticket. He does not have the wisdom, skill set to be VP

Trump / Carson 2016

My hunch is that a LOT of conservatives, including ones who don’t support Trump, are outraged at how these radical lefties treated Trump’s free speech. Ted Cruz just needs to go away and hopefully he will soon.

I saw up front and personal what the BLM professional agitators were capable of...surrounding my car and pounding on my windows tonight...It was scary—they were full of hate towards me...not because of Trump, but because I was white and unable to move my car :(

After getting through that ordeal—thank God 20 or so Chicago police arrived on the scene to dispurse the 200 or more protesters surrounding the 2 cars stuck with me, I cannot tell you how upset I was to come home and turn on the news to hear Cruz blame Trump.

Cruz was at a safe suburban $120+ plate fundraiser—so it is easy for him to cast stones. But those stones were a cheap shot at Trump and his supporters. Shame on Cruz!!!!!!!
