This is quite stunning even for a politician as low as Ted Cruz. Senator Cruz has a prime opportunity to highlight the intolerance of the left. Instead he choses to attack Donald Trump:
At a media availability in Chicago, Ted Cruz basically blamed Donald Trump for the violence and protests that occurred earlier in the day at a Donald Trump rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

Agreed. I haven’t decided who I can really support yet. I’ve been trying to give Cruz the benefit of the doubt. This is just so disillusioning to me, I don’t know if I can stand with this guy now. I understand Cruz wants to get Trump out of the way, but this is going beyond the pale. Encouraging these protests is utter foolishness.
Ted just needs to go. Who would ever vote for him after this kind of behavior. I know, I know those of you who are so pure that you can only vote for him because he is the only one that won’t fund planned parenthood or some such. While I think that is important, I happen to think our country and winning this election is much more important than one single issue. We do not have the luxury of the perfect unelectable candidate this time. Give it up.

His one out might be to say that he didn't know it was coordinated but one would have to be living under a rock to not know that.
I am PISSED at Ted. Before this presser I thought who ever got the top votes would be President and the other one VP. But this is toxic.

Yes, and this is nothing unusual for Chicago. I listen to the Steve Dahl show daily and their traffic reports often mention how to avoid demonstrations!
