"The responsibility for that lies with protesters, who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of a campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord," Cruz said

They all work for the Clinton machine, iow, they’re Mittwit’s coworkers.
/bingo!
Hang on tight to that railing. Don’t risk the lifeboat!
The RMS CRUZ is unsinkable, you know. It was just a glancing blow with an act of real leadershup, and he talked his way around it.
! ONE LAST POINT !
WHO are the REAL brown shirts?
Brown shirts go out into the public and party-crash to enforce submission. Cruz, Rubio and Kasich sided with the Brown Shirts.
Cruz has no problem with a contested convention even though he opposes a brokered one.
Reagan had to broker his victory if I heard Rush correctly. Ended up with Bush foisted on him.

Seven Questions regarding a Convention Fight
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3408205/posts
Are GOP delegates patriots above all else?
Would the delegates’ own opinions be respected enough for unity?
If everyone falls short of magic 1236 [or whatever it is], is it possible that Cruz can actually prevent a brokered convention?
Will most Trump supporters understand if Trump is defeated via a convention fight?
How much time does Trump have to enter ballots as an independent if a convention fight is inevitable? Under the circumstances, should he consider doing so?
How much leverage will the Establishment have on Trump if he’s forced to make a deal with them? How much would that water down his agenda?
[Rush mentioned that the Establishment forced Bush on Reagan via a convention threat.]
If Trump runs as an independent, how many GOP party faithful will remain with the convention winner? Would the GOP become the third party of conservatism?
Just beyond enraged by these cucks.
That is all they are, all the way down to their supporters on FR.
I wanted to think the best of Cruz, but siding with Brown Shirt leftists? Criticizing their targets?
Cruz has always been a Bushie Establishmentarian.
Many are now just seeing reality.
People get wrapped up in ‘team spirit’. And Cruz is telling them that his koolaid is patriotism.
I’m beginning to wonder that myself about Cruz. He wants to win so badly that things are coming out.
Cruz is a GOPe tool.
Phyllis Schlafly says Trump is conservative. I believe her.
You I recognize as a shill for Cruz who’s doing a fair Baghdad Bob impersonation.
Yup used to like him but he is GOPe and a fraud. FUTC
Rafael ‘Ted’ Cruz sided with his own natural kind...
I have read the whole thread up to this point. I estimate the consensus at a minimum of 20 to 1 against Cruz’s statement. He stepped in a Texas-sized pile this time.
It seems to me this Republican primary is so fierce because like the Dem primary of 2008 it is assumed whoever wins this will win in November.
I am surprised that Mr. Trump did not have his rally in a location in a IL town just outside of Chicago were the folks are a lot more peaceful.
So, you would disagree with the phrase, "I disagree with what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it"???
How about Hillary blaming Benghazi on a video? Is that legitimate?
Or....Obama and company telling us we need ti=o understand that them poor terrorists only kill so many innocents because they are reacting to insults and other terrible things said about them?
So many here are so desperate to trash Trump/defend Cruz that they stray from the principles and tenets of Constitutional Conservatism because "he's not conservative enough".....IRONIC......no?
But the verbal slams, ridicule, tough-man talk, etc of Trump does encourage his supporters to be the same.”
You’re supporting my case. If what you said were true, then Trump’s supporters would be the aggressors; THEY WERE THE VICTIMS.
February 24 on FreeRepublic:
“GOPe Announce Plans To Go “Full Mississippi” on Donald Trump To Destroy Him
Stuart Stevens and Henry Barbour assembled again to discuss the process of “taking down Trump”. Stevens fully admits to the Mississippi 2014 strategy and how it will work in 2016 against Donald Trump.
So how do they do it? Simple, it’s war - a thermonuclear political war. There are no boundaries, there are no rules, there is nothing too far, there is nothing held back.
They run attack ads, they’ll shout names and make up malicious smears; they’ll follow the candidate around to make noise at rallies; they lie about anything and everything; they’ll pay anyone and everyone to assist, and they don’t care if the high-information voter knows what they are doing; it’s all part of the overall scorched earth plan.
They’ll pay people to do and say anything, ANYTHING. Winning is all that counts. Destroying the opponent is all that matters. Every means justifies that end. Period.”
